    This is the first video of your's I've watched. Love your energy. Nice to see I recognized every place you were (without you telling), because I live here in Pretoria. Have been here for almost two years. Relocated back after a lifetime in the US (mostly Texas). My late mother is African American and today is her birthday (Happy Birthday Mum!!!). She spend most of her life in Africa, being married to my father, a Mosotho from South Africa. She spent her last years in Texas, but really, really missed here. Love it here - reconnecting with family and friends and making new friends. South Africa is a naturally gorgeous country, but the best thing about it is the people. Returning is the best thing I ever did. Every day, I count my blessings to be back. You did a great job on this video! I think I'm hooked.

    My bank 🏦 is USAA. USAA refunds all of your ATM 🏧 fees. As long as you have a bank that refunds your ATM 🏧 fees, you shouldn’t have a problem using the 🏧 in South Africa 🇿🇦. I did it for 14 days and my fees were refunded to my account 24 hours later. If your bank doesn’t offer this, then get rid of them and find a bank 🏦 who does. It’ll make traveling to SA easier and less stressful. No conversion rates required. I hope this bit helps. 😀

We were blessed to see the big five. Went on three Safaris. We tipped when it was deserved, and the locals truly showed us love. We treat everyone with respect, and they returned the respect to us. Very nice people. I was disappointed that most of the major business were not owned by blacks.

      We mentioned that loadshedding hasn't happened since march but no one seems to know the definite answer of whether it will return. In the event it does, we've given tips to help ppl navigate that. After 17 years of loadshedding, we wish South Africa to have just as many (+more) years without it.

    Remember afrikaans is not only α language of white oppressors, most afrikaans speakers are coloured and people of all races speak it.
    It was created by indigenous people when interacting with settlers but used as α language of oppression. In that sense English is less indigenous in South Africa ❤ love u guys

    Afrikaans people did not bring apartheid, the English did

    • @DreLBrown529
      @DreLBrown529 2 месяца назад

      The Afrikaans language came from those Europeans who brought apartheid to South Africa is what I believe he was saying. The Afrikaan colonizer language is the European made up language that’s used today by all the Caucasian South Africans who inherited from their ancestors who were the ones who brought apartheid to South Africa against the native blacks of the country.

Less than half of Americans of any race have passports since the U.S. is so cool and large that many don’t bother to travel. Every black person I know has a passport and has traveled to many countries. Black people have increased our net worths as well. We aren’t all rich but only a small percentage is poor.

    Good content - but for apartheid information, best to say the government kept the non-white and the whites separate - not just black, coloured and white separate. There’s for example - a large Indian community in SA and some Chinese too, they were affected during apartheid too.
