I've never been more aware of how often people make small talk by asking "what do you do?" than this year of funemployment!! Hit me with your Qs and I'll try to A them heauxs.
Evelyn From The Internets 1. How do you answer that question without feeling like you are failing at life lol. Especially at the beginning of the journey. 2. (Most important) TEACH ME HOW TO MANAGE MY TIME so I don't waste it (but not be busy unnecessarily) so I can accomplish more within the day. 3. How did you just start. After you quit, how did you just start all the things you wanted to do. I have all the ideas but I'm having a problem starting it seems. Any tips. Also did you have a plan ahead of time? Money saved? How much month? How important is money in this whole "funemployed" thing? Were/are you worried about it and anything else? Were you ever discouraged, both by others and from yourself? And do you have a support team. If so, how many people are on it? I know your brother, but anyone else like the hard people to turn like parents etc? How important is having a support team for you? And can you make more videos on putting yourself out there. Maybe marketing yourself etc? I'm scared, Evelyn😩😩☹. Thanks.
This is so funny to me because Shameless Maya just made a video about wanting to be screenwriter too and taking classes! Link up! Either way, are you working on 1 project/story or multiple?
I've worked nonstop since 16 and this last yr I decided i had enough of the corporate jungle lol. I quit and took the summer off. Best. Decision. I. Ever. Made. Went back to working in Sept and I'm now like...whyyy did i come back. Are there any financial tips u have to spread out ur savings while funemployed?
From the video description, it sounds like you intentionally planned this for quite a while. Are you comfortable talking about some saving & money-making strategies for being funemployed? How to budget whilst funemployed? Can you also talk about time - like how long you plan to be funemployed and how you manage your time?
I quit my full time job about four years ago to freelance as a stylist and it actually gave me the opportunity to monetize part of my cosplay hobby. Between my freelance jobs and my commission work I still have tons of time to learn new skills and be able to have more adventures.
Victoria Bane I’m looking to be semi funemployed - I’m going part time starting Nov. to work on some things I have not been able to build due to full time work. Pray fo me girl.
I quit my corporate job in June and took the whole summer off. I didn’t have another job lined up but found one better suited for me and started in the Fall. Best decision I ever made. Sometimes you need the break. Corporate America can be exhausting especially for minorities.
Scott Rogue this is something I am considering doing in the future. The only thing is that I’m worried on how the gap looks on my resume. How did you deal with this?
Leira Zetroc I said my previous company was going through a restructuring that resulted in major layoffs. I indicated I wanted to be devoted and in control of my career so I dedicated my time to a full time job search. A lot of employers looked at it as a benefit since I knew my company was going downhill.
I did the same thing this past April! I had the entire summer off, did whatever I wanted, and now am starting my new, less stressful job in November!! My last job almost caused me to have a stroke, due to high stress...NO JOB is worth your health. My body thanks me. I agree with needing a break, my mind is ready to work with the masses now!
I quit my long time job of a graveyard shift hotel front desk person early this year. It was killing me. I had also commited to being more creative this year...drawing, painting or sewing everyday. After a lot of ill-fitting positions, shit workplace conditions & chronic funemployment...I just started as a "painting while drinking party kinda thing" instructor. I'm stoked.
I totally understand the "ill-fitting" positions thing. I was just telling someone the other day, I've never had a job that I like and I never fit in at any of my jobs...
@@ilovemytribe I can relate... I did have a 9 month funemployment period last year when I returned home from university and work abroad. It was great. I am itching to get back to it.
Heyyyy there Evelyn!! 🙋 It's very funny that you make a video of this because I have literally been "funemployed" as you so auspciously coined it for the past 18 months. I did some emotional unpacking, began meditating, reading different authors, would cook way more than I used to and then also travel! People (mostly relatives) thought I was insane but working for decades in really does take its toll. In the past whenever I quit jobs without swinging to a new branch of opportunity I'd just be broke for about 3 weeks to 6 months on my mother's couch. But this time, after all this time, I realized what I never did during *that* time was focus on ME! And so I did! I don't have a single regret this go around. I'll be closing on a house very soon and I've also began working with a new startup! I know you will also find your way. Congratulations on your journey and I look forward to seeing your comedic hot takes and seeing you prosper!! 💪❤💖❤👍 #SurviveNevermoreThriveLikeNeverBefore
@Junky Mack I agree, most of them happy funemployed people have a fall-back plan, especially on the where to live / what to eat part. If you don't have any commitments, chilling and 'taking the year off' is easier. Not that easy for the rest of us who needs to support ourselves.
I just quit my job because it was killing me and I had to get out of that environment. Slight panic as my savings dwindle but now I'm doing things I enjoy and really thinking about what I want. I'm also getting my skincare together and my health. But hey if anyone wants to employ me.....* adulting is expensive*.
If I was fuemployed firstly😂 I would be able to recharge my introvert self better. Nothing worse then feeling drained from ppl then having to turnaround and see more of them. Secondly I would be able to read more. My "I'm gonna read this next" pile looka way to big right now 😩
I went to school for art and never used it and I highly regret it because I ended up being miserable in retail. I want to be funemployed and start back into art. I did all kinds. Hell I even wrote and did poetry competitions and prose competitions then I stopped 3 years ago (when my dad was diagnosed with cancer). He has since passed and I can't imagine he would want me to be miserable, unhealthy, and emotionally ruined. He'd want me to be happy...
I am currently funemployed. It's coming to an end. I'm spending time in my city. Exploring New Orleans and getting to enjoy it has been great. I'm going back to school and starting a new job next week so this era is coming to a close.
1. Loving your commitment to storytelling full-time because you've been on that tip for a minute. GO. EVELYN. 2. The budgeting discipline you must have to be funemployed for almost a year and gone on, what 15 trips??? Two of them outside the country? My gawd. 3. If I were funemployed *and* had mad cushy savings like you ... honestly I'd be doing pretty much the same thing. Writing. Cooking more. And maybe some dance classes or yoga classes. Something active. CONGRATS, EVELYN!
We need yall in the african community. The fear that grips me just thinking of not having more than two jobs is overwhelming. Plus I think the older generation had to learn how to survive when we are given the opportunity to live thanks to their sacrifices. I don't know i'm rambling. Thanks Evelyn. If I was funemployed I'd travel every two months just for food.
I became voluntarily funemployed 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT!! I now can cook more, spend more time with my 6 month old and come and go as I please. Budgeting of course is more important now but I realized I focused too much energy and brain space to how much money I’d lose if I quit and didn’t think about how much of a better quality of life I’d gain. Overall even if I have to get a job in 6 months I’m glad I had these moments to just LIVE
Evelyn, Last year my friend was just a chemist. She took the Shona Rhimes class because she had a dream. Not only did she get promoted at her full time, she also won awards for her first self produced screenplay this year and is releasing her second next year. Bruh...she is the girl who like Org Chem and now she’s also a screenwright. You can do it! OAN: I am the girl who left college with 70K in debt making 8.00hr. Yeah. No one and I mean no one would hire me for any job that could help me get out of debt and not live the struggle bus life . Hubby and I had a baby, wasted money, lost our home, I drove Uber, he tried to start a business, we almost divorced, and so much more. We were so far from God and each other. Fast forward to today and I’m now in corporate America giving the heart of God back to that industry. And being not so fun employed ended up being the best thing that ever happened to me. Taught me how to survive. How to hustle. How to run a business. And how to not let anything, any job, any career, even myself, be my end all be all in life. I reached the happiest place in working when I realized I didn’t need a job to be happy; I needed good money management skills. Whatever you do girl, wherever you go, with God you can’t fail. I can’t wait to see your first play. Kudos on the chromebook sponsor!
I resigned from my “big girl job” on Friday so this video couldn’t have come at a more PERFECT time! Now that I’m funemployed I have more time to focus on my creative endeavours AND get that summer 2k19 body right 😂 Congratulations Evelyn! 💕
This video is so timely! Thank you Evelyn. I finished my Maters Degree last September and have been "Funemployed" since. I felt really low coming out of uni with all of those expectations people naturally place on us and how I wasn't able to achieve them. After reassurace from the Holy Spirit, I found peace in my situation and decided to make the best of my young life! I took 4 trips this year: Switzerland in Feb for Skiing wityh friends, South Korea in March to visit my cousin who was teaching there - including an amazing trip to Jeju Island, New Jersey / New York in Septermber to see family & a surprise trip to Cuba as a gift from my cousin for my birthday. All of this gave me the courage to finally even start a blog! What I thought would be the worst year of my life, turned out to really be the best - all because of a change of perspective and a trust in what God has for me.
I’m FUNemployeed. I get to travel, be home with my kids and hustle so my husband can retire and continue investing more time into our family business. I’m so happy I found your channel. You’re hella laughs and super relatable! ☺️💕
Evelyn!!! We are twinning!!! Shout out to you for taking that leap. It's scary but worth it. Sending encouragement, blessings, and good vibes to you. We got this! Good luck with Shonda's class, it's dope and research is real so binge all you want lol Thanks for the new term "Funemployed" it's much better than "Freelance Filmmaker" that I've been using lol. Here's to living the dream 😊
Dominique Abram lol I was a content creator for 5+ years for a corporation on top of my RUclips channel. I’m lucky that my full time job pretty much mirrored what I (sometimes) do here on my channel! ✨👶🏿✨ I admire self employed content creators a lot because whew folks think it’s easy.
@@Evelynfromtheinternets Oh no i didn't mean that in a disrespectful way. I meant you were a like a full time one like daily vlogs. But I love the content you deliver.
Funemployed! I like that...it makes it seem less discouraging than saying you're out of work. From experience, I would say that whatever you want to do with that time, make sure you have a plan and schedule for it! It is so easy to get caught up in not working that you get used to lounging around and not doing anything productive at all. Unemployment is a break from corporate work...don't let it be a break from personal/self work. Love this video!
Aye! I'm in your vidcon picture! It was super cool meeting you! It's funny I've been unemployed since August and I was recently starting to feel like a failure because it's rough out in these unemployed streets (and I live in Miami where speaking spanish is king in the workforce). I've also done the stupid thing of comparing my life to others who "seem" like they have their life together (a.k.a social media highlight reels), and to be honest it threw me into a deep depressive funk. This video couldn't have come at a better time because perception of a situation is EVERYTHING! I've gotten to travel and do a lot of things on my time off but it's been overshadowed by my perception of feeling like a failure because I wasn't clocking into somewhere everyday especially after working so hard to get a college degree. I'm going to use this time being FUNEMPLOYED to improve myself and do things I've always wanted to do like take acting classes and actually focus on making RUclips content again (because my channel is 😶...😂). If I end up getting another job it'll be a bonus but for now I'm going to have fun being Funemployed. Thank you for this video and for what you do for your internet cousins ❤
the cooking part remined me of my last semester of doing my masters abroad, I was writing my thesis mostly at home, taking cooking breaks, naps, gym breaks and was so happy, so healthy and so content. Im now applying for full time jobs because I had to move back home and need an income to move out :P hopefully after a few years of working full time (yikes) I get to venture on to something like that, even with my heavily academic background I want to do something different and work for myself... prayer hands!
The first year after I retired from the Army, I didn't work. I traveled to Germany, France and New Zealand. I wandered all over New York, attended the theater and really got into watching RUclips.
So Happy for you Evelyn!! And I’m enjoying all of these videos.. two things I’d do if I were FunEmployed 1.Travel more 2. Read every book I’ve purchased and haven’t had time to read and then buy more
I just found your channel (thank you RUclips algorithm!) and it’s been a pleasure to watch your videos. I actually spent 18 months funemployed. Okay really i was working a wee little bit for myself but not making a ton of money. Pretty much I was making enough to extend my funemployment by 6 months. I thought in that time I would “get so much done” and honestly the first six months I spent resting up after 13 years of working 2,3 and 4 jobs and never less than 60 hours a week. The middle six months was probably my best time. I took up running and rekindled my childhood fling with the library. I read a gajillion books and traveled all over the country and internationally too! Then the last 6 months I kind of decompressed from the whirlwind and started planning what I wanted my life to be once I started working for gainful employment again. Now I’m back to 3 jobs, but 2 of them are for myself. The third is part time with reasonably flexible hours. I’m also starting a blog. My priorities have changed so dramatically. I prioritize my spiritual and mental self care over everything. I have an awesome work life balance and I take good care of my body...most days... some days I eat Taco Bell.... life is about balance. Being funemployed was the scariest, most life changing, boring, exhilarating, interesting, and meaningful thing I’ve ever done.... I have a feeling it was the same for you too.
Great video per usual Evelyn. We love ya girl!! And I think people need to seriously examine global economics esp. here in the U.S. Being funemployed is not only great for you holistically (as you mentioned you on yo healthy eating tip!) but great for your pockets as well. What many parents don't realize is that the old model of ONLY working a 9-5 and cashing out on a pension or social security is not going to cut it. If we keep it all the way 100, many of us will be lucky if social security even exists when we retire or if the age isn't raised to 80! lol. The average millionaire has at least 7 streams of income. Being creative is not only fun it's essential. Keep making great content, and please push forward sis, WE'RE WAITING ON THAT PILOT!!
I'm Funemployed and I eat, sleep, binge, eat, sleep, eat so my days are pretty full on. I get to volunteer my time to the elderly and my mental health. YAY FUNEMPLOYMENT! 🎉
I have so many skills that just doesnt create money for me.....im not doing something right smh but I'm a mother now so I feel like I can do what I love and set the tone for my kids so they can see they don't need a 9-5 but can work for themselves . I draw. paint . fashion illustration .ima cosmetologist
I'm still trying and striving for it to work although it sucks I see it seems easier for others. Ive been drawing since I was 3 and I feel I already knw why my cosmetic love isnt working ,I live in Fl and I'm not a weaveologist lol I do natural hair.
Ebony. Queen you can’t do everything you listed, i’d say start with what others see you as. do you think people will buy paintings from you? are you know for your fashion illustrations or cosmetology? can you get a PT job at a salon easily? instruct at a paint & sip? there are options, sometimes it’s best to choose the easiest ones! good luck
Congratulations on your fun-employment! You are seriously living the dream and I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU! If I could be funemployed, I'd definitely do the traveling, eating better, exercise regularly, get my prayer life right (work in progress) and work on my dancing. I haven't done West Coast Swing in ages and I want to get back to it... Oh... You asked for two things? Well, my grade school teachers always told us to elaborate so... Can't wait to see what you do next Internet Cousin!
Evelyn!!! It's a joy to see you do ya thang! Since the first time I was introduced to you 2 years ago, your videos bring a smile to my face and heart💕. If I was funemployed, I'd take more yoga classes, get licensed as a yoga instructor, take a drawing class, and travel more often!
I’ve been on the journey of funemployment for almost a year (It will be a year nov 7th). It really has awakened my entrepreneurial spirit and allowed to revive my creativity. 🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️
Honestly, it takes a lot of guts to do what you're doing. If I were funemployed I'd definitely be delving into new creative mediums and visiting some national parks in the US.
When I become ‘funemployed’ I can prioritise really levelling up in learning skills that help me be a better creative & spend more time living life - I’m learning to look at employment differently - to appreciate this time & I’m using this time to learn how to be resilient, to improve, to be emotionally & mentally stronger. It’s harrddd tho! Lovee your content.
My upcoming funemployment (I can't limit myself to two): 1. Become fluent in Spanish 2. Read more 3. Write the academic paper I WANTED to write for my senior thesis 4. Take krav maga classes 5. Give myself space to figure some things out 6. Travel around Latin America
I, too, am "funemployed"... I'm resting, taking care of MASELF, sleeping on time (because beauty naps), traveling, minding my business, honing new skills... it's great! Cheers to us!!
I've been funemployed for almost 3 years and you nailed the benefits: creative pursuits, cooking more and traveling. I also enjoy taking my sweet time at the grocery store with the daytime crowd. I have a Spanish class every week and almost everyone in my class is a retiree. They're super fun. Enjoy it as long as you can! Don't wait until you're 65 to enjoy life.
YESS! Dear Evelyn, I've been funemployed for 3 years, and all of sudden I got hired for jobs I love doing, like being musician, actor and writer! Keep on it, you are sending the energy it into the universe and the universe will return it right back! Love, from the Netherlands!
This video and your other video about your funemployed lifestyle are so inspiring. I recently got fired from my job in June 2018, two weeks after I came back from CHINA! I was bummed out about that but I didn't let that get me down. I started my youtube channel but I was not inspired or motivated because I felt like a failure. All I was doing was working full time and part-time. In addition, I am in school full time. Some months before I was fired I stumbled across this video and this thought of not working for a year and pushing my youtube channel popped in my mind ALOT. After watching this video at 3 am EST I am soooooo motivated to post content consistently! THANKS, INTERNET COUSIN! 💙🙌🏾
Evelyn truly deserves millions of subscribers the content you create is inspiring, creative, hilarious and just all around the best thing I see on RUclips. Favorite channel hands down
I just fell in love with you 10,000x more😍😍😍 I love to write scripts, I took a script writing class so it warms my heart to see someone correctly type a script💜✨ I’m leaving my job behind....TOMORROW....it’s time I take this Creativepreneur career serious, can’t wait to get on your level of being funemployed!!!
Been funemployed for 1.5 years now! I feel like I’ve been financially struggling a bit, but I’m still living the life! Traveling when I want, not waking up with an alarm, and grocery shopping in the middle of the day, like you said! Iz bomb.
If I was funemployed, I would one-work on my baking and cooking by interning in a professional kitchen or bakery 2. I would learn Spanish, Japanese and Korean; and 3. travel
Congratulations. I loved going to film school. Sound design and screenwriting were some fun classes. I wanted to be an editor at one point but I fell in love with the art of it all and still do art. I wish you all the best and if you need me for anything just holla.
Currently in this situation until the third week of November! It has been awesome - but also really busy too! I've been able to get a lot of doctors appointments in - finally! Amen to the cooking and eating better... Also done some traveling, and I'll be going to Nigeria next Wednesday! More time with God and building my relationship with my fiance, and wedding planning! So I'm grateful for this month of "doing all those errands that I would never really be able to do" time!
I LOVE Chromebooks! I have one, as well as a Chromebase, the desktop version, both of which are everything I could possibly need, and they were both very reasonably priced for such quick and convenient machines
Just found your channel not too long ago, now I must binge watch your videos in free time. I love an inspirational black women to look up to! Blessings to you!
Been funemployed for a few years now as a single, childless homemaker 😁 I hustle every now and again when I have a big purchase or vacation coming up but the lifestyle is dope! Glad to see it's becoming more mainstream.
Yes! thank you for sharing your experience. Being funemployed has been great for me as well. It's only been a few months but I've gotten to go to Las Vegas, Costa Rica, San Fransisco and I feel incredibly blessed. "my savings account is my PTO" you said it right!!
Hmmmmm, fun little story time! A few years ago, I was forcefully funemployed from getting a college education for a semester when I wanted to go to community college right after graduating high school, all due to my being a homeschooler. No really. I had 3.9 GPA, had done well in standardized testing, volunteered, knew multiple languages, and was a competitive dancer who worked 3 jobs, but they stated I needed a letter from my town's superintendent of schools saying that they had approved my syllabus each year...O_o...( btw, this wasn't and still isn't legal to require that in my state and because of some wonderful home schooling advocacy lawyers, this policy is now abolished). Of course, I wasn't told this until after taking and passing the placement exams, signing up for my classes, and buying my textbooks. I even mapped out my class-routes! So they tell me I have to provide this documentation (that I can't provide and legally shouldn't have to provide) or take the GED in October. So I did it. I took and passed the GED, made a new friend who was also taking the exam, and then read over 30 books, redecorated parts of my house, worked my other jobs, and took some time off to travel for the first time by myself and it was awesome. I almost want to thank that ridiculous school...but I'm still too well-seasoned of a person to do that right now. ;)
As a fellow homeschooler considering community college I was about to panic and beg you to tell me you don't live in Missouri till I saw it just meant you had to get your GED :) I want to be like you when I grow up, you well-seasoned person you :D
@@purplecosmos5431 hey there! Thanks heaps :) As for you, my case is just an example of how the policy went at the time. Since rules concerning homeschoolers go not only by state by state, but really school by school basis, I would seriously check out what your prospective school(s)' policies are regarding homeschooler applicants as there might be more or less involved than what I ended up doing. I wish you all of the best in your studies though! Homeschoolers can do anything in life! :)
I've been funemployed siiiinnncceeeee forever. Tried retail, royally crashed and burned, so I'm doing freelance illustration and a pinch of animation full time. My schedule's all over the place, so some days I'm sitting here wondering what the hell I'm doing with my life and when my savings will dry up OR I sign up for so much work I wanna die but them bills gotta be paid. Overall, I'm glad to (mostly) do what I love and get paid for it. That chromebook is so fancy! Congrats on a full YEAR of funemployment!
Fantastic!!!!! Huge congrats to you. Sky is the limit. Love the name funemployed 😆. For me two things I can think of is 1. I’m only responsible for me. I only have to manage me. No employees!!!!!! That was my biggest freedom. 2. And of course the stress level went from 100 to 0. No joke. You are in control of your output. The best part is the rewards are all yours not just a paycheck from a company. You go girl!
I, too, quit a low-paying job that stressed me out so much that I had headaches nearly everyday. Now I have more schedule flexibility and can enjoy the projects that I take on. I've been able to read, write, and draw again. I've been learning more comp sci and foreign languages on the side. I've taken a few extra college courses at a nearby university--even though I already have a degree--just to learn (I never knew just how exciting upper-level chemistry is). I've traveled to a few different countries and spent more time there than most other tourists. My soul is fed more and my spirit much more joyful than this time last year.
I love your Insta to-do lists so much! They are so fulfilling. And seeing you get excited about making meals over this last year has made me so happy! You. Are. THRIVING. -S
I am currently working on becoming fun employed as of now. I am working right now to become more financially stable but at the same time preparing to start a business. Everything is in the prepro stages so I cannot say much but I applaud you for doing what you do.
You look amazing cousin 😢 seriously, thank you so much for this video. You have no idea how badly I needed this motivation. I’m so looking forward to being on this journey with you. I’m currently saving and working two jobs so that I can get the equipment I need to BE fun employed 👌🏾 it’s hard being a creative behind an office desk, answering phones and what not when you really want to be recording music but I know I’m where I need to be right now. I have a lot of work to do before I can be fun employed, although I am very excited 😌
I quit my job in February and have been funemployed since. This year has been WILD. We sold pretty much every belonging we own and moved to Canada! I have health insurance for the first time in a decade!! I am finally writing my first novel, taking part in NaNoWriMo, which I've wanted to do for YEARS but never had the time to really dedicate myself to it. I've been furiously outlining for weeks feeling more and more ready to dive in with my whole self on Thursday.
I love all of your videos, but this one is by far the one I enjoyed the most. I’m working on my inner “zen” and basically my inner calm-the-hell-down. I am inspired by you to take a step back and ask myself what I actually want instead of what I think I should be doing at every point in my life.
Oh, Evelyn! I’m Funemployed also! I quit my full time job of 13 years in October to finish my Masters degree. Now, I’m completing my internship at a homeless shelter in Dallas. Hopefully, soon I can be completely FREE!!! Hope all is well.
Sleep. I’m funemployed, and the best part other than getting to Love up on my daughter and hubby, is the SLEEP 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️. Getting to travel more has also been a blessing. Lol
You are such an inspiration. I’ve been watching you since the OG RUclips years and your growth has been phenomenal. I am so happy that you are pursuing this full time and letting us grow with you. Your videos are a treat and make my day. I’m freaking so proud of you dude keep it the heck UP
Girl, same! I jut quit my full time career of teaching English this Friday. I taught 7years and now I’m pursuing my passions. Started my own channel reading tarot among lots of other things. I’m excited and nervous and free all at one! I wish you well! 💖💖💖

A lot of employers looked at it as a benefit since I knew my company was going downhill.
ilovemytribe I can agree with you 1000% percent. We have to work so much harder to get anything and a lot of times still get nothing.
I'm stoked.
Hildy van Hefeweizen that’s so dope!! People love a good sip and paint 💜💜 wishing you success!
Evelyn From The Internets Thank-you!
This makes me so happy!!! Congrats on the collab and writing! Yes, yes, YAS!!!!
Waaaaaiiiit. Another video? I’m not going to bug out but thank the ancestors!!!
How do you make money while you are funployed?
Brownie8986 damn I had to screenshot this comment it’s a good one ❤️❤️
@Junky Mack this.
Junky Mack well, you just told her so i guess she now has a way to do it lmao
1st thing I would do is catch up on all the sleep I’ve lost working, then I would travel.

I am currently funemployed. It's coming to an end. I'm spending time in my city. Exploring New Orleans and getting to enjoy it has been great. I'm going back to school and starting a new job next week so this era is coming to a close.
Congrats! Hope you are refreshed and rejuvenated and can enter this new season in your life well-rested!
I'm getting ready to move to New Orleans. Are you having fun?
I'm planning to be back in New Orleans very soon. Hopefully I'll be combining work and travel.
@@mykiamoto7145 I am! Everything is so different now. Nothing is where I left it so it's like getting to know the place all over again.
Moto Gyal So am I! Hope you love it! I’ll be moving in December.
Evelyn,
Last year my friend was just a chemist.
I resigned from my job exactly 30 days ago today. I wasn't happy there and I always wanted to Start my own business. So I did! 😁
Patrice Phillips awesome.
When your brother speaks I think about that puppet.
ahahahahahaha! I forgot about that! lol
Love this! You stay blessed!
Shiiiddddddd, I’m basically funemployed too! Lol I’m joining Peace Corps in January and working part time now until I leave. You’re my she-ro! 💙

You my hero! If I were unemployed, I would spend it on creative endeavors and actually sticking to a workout regimen.
Funemployment sounds like such a vibe!! I would travel and work on my sewing skills.
The first year after I retired from the Army, I didn't work. I traveled to Germany, France and New Zealand. I wandered all over New York, attended the theater and really got into watching RUclips.
So Happy for you Evelyn!! And I’m enjoying all of these videos.. two things I’d do if I were FunEmployed
1.Travel more
2. Read every book I’ve purchased and haven’t had time to read and then buy more
Yahh to "Funemployed". Chrome book looks nice. 💖💖💖💖
I get to work out now! And I set my own hours of work and I looovveee traveling!
If I were fun employed I'd get back into drawing and travel to the African American museum in D.C
That place had me crying every 10 minutes. Hella deep and emotional
“Adding seasoning AS PER THE ANCESTORS GUIDELINES...” this is how we prosper and grow as a people. a whole mood. vibe. lifestyle!

I have so many skills that just doesnt create money for me.....im not doing something right smh but I'm a mother now so I feel like I can do what I love and set the tone for my kids so they can see they don't need a 9-5 but can work for themselves . I draw. paint . fashion illustration .ima cosmetologist
You can totally make it work with what little free time you have.

Yessssss!!! I'll be funemployed at the end of this week. Just quit my job to pursue my business!!! Look out America, I'm coming for ya!
Thanks heaps :)
As for you, my case is just an example of how the policy went at the time. :)
@@EyeGlassTrainofMind Thanks! I'll make sure I do my homework on this one!

“Adding seasonings according to The ancestors guidelines and not the cookbooks” 🤣🤣🤣 factsss !! Love you cousin!
You. Are. THRIVING. -S

I love all of your videos, but this one is by far the one I enjoyed the most. I’m working on my inner “zen” and basically my inner calm-the-hell-down. I am inspired by you to take a step back and ask myself what I actually want instead of what I think I should be doing at every point in my life.
