Hachiko's story, no matter how many times I hear it, always makes me cry. Some of us don't even have humans in our lives who are that loyal. We truly don't deserve dogs.
Oh boy I'm ready to cry.... I have a dog and while not as heart wrenching as Hachiko, I know he's very loyal. When I went to college, my little dog would drag blankets or dog beds to sleep in front of my old room for the years I was gone. Now he lives with me
As an American living in Tokyo many many years ago I was standing in front of a large train station and saw a small statue of a small dog and asked "what's that...?"
One word of advice to all dog owners: should you ever go before your dog, let him or her see your lifeless body. That way, at least he or she will know that you are gone from the world. And will not spend much of his or her precious remaining life waiting for your return.
I love this channel, it's weird you don't have more views. It would be really interesting to hear about cults in japan, I've only heard about them in the west.
Not Hachiko god dammit... I'm a grown man and supposed not to cry. Anyway, it is most remarkable that a dog would be the inspiration for so many bad movies and mangas.
Hello! Can you tell us more about Hachiko's life in Professor Ueno's house? Describe his life there, his relationship with the owner? How did Ueno treat him? How much did you love your dog? Did Ueno have a family, children? And what is shown in the Japanese film, when the professor took a bath with Hachiko, caught fleas from him for hours, and Hachi fell asleep in his arms is it true? And please tell me, is it true that Hati, after the death of his master, lived with his former gardener?
I'm a cat person but had dogs as a kid. I really needed this story today. Have his collar stolen?? What the hell, I don't understand. A country that has a very low crime rate but dog collars are hot merch? Source? Why?
I already know the story and I know how it will affect me but I have to watch anyway. What kind of person would treat an animal poorly just for existing? I swear, better not let me catch you...!

Dogs won’t share food with humans, so…….do they really love humans?
@@chuckiepeoples you like eating dog food?
@@guhrizzlee You make no sense.

I remember I cried a mile of river when I first came across Hachiko's story 20 years ago. I hope Hachiko is now up in heaven with his owner.
Dogs display an unbroken loyalty towards good caregivers.
Great content, we don’t deserve dogs. Damn this one made me cry.

I would always watch Hachi: A Dog’s Tale at my cottage when I was younger; I’d cry every time.
