A little follow up on the Ghost Ship debate, since it was super interesting to have a discussion about design in chat. My point was that 'units that have no real weakness are not enjoyable to fight'. But in hindsight, two days later (lol) I realized they do. Numbers. Infestations, even gold ones, really only ever have one scary stack. They often have support stacks of t1-2 units, but they can't muster 3 power stacks like you can. So even if it's 18v18, you can usually bring more power per slot into a fight. The reason we lost the first battle is we ended up fighting the invading stack on the turn it spawned--they spawn on a turn, then start moving one turn later. Two Ghost Ships, especially with our chaff undead, were outclassed. Does that make them less tedious to fight? Not really. I still don't think they're a balanced unit, but you encounter them very rarely, so it's not awful.
You beat me to it. But against 3 Balors you would have lost too. I think tier V units need to be very powerfull. Also you didn't have one of the three damagetypes to make dent. When you look at it the other way round you wouldn't have liked it too loose you tier V units against some tier I units. Ranged magic attacks nver do friendly fire btw. Curious for the next part. The fey armies will be getting stronger. Good luck.
You might have shuffled right before the lineup naturally shuffled. I cannot see the counter of when the heroes will shuffle due to your avatar so I cannot say for sure.
Love the game and love your build in this one. I not play any of the new campaigns yet must have a play tru them.. keep them coming
