But there are other cultures out there that are not tolerant with cheating and infidelity, like in my country. Many might say it's cruel and bad, but in other hand, it's an effective way to avoid cheating and those who did will definitely get the consequences, instantly the moment they got found out. If relationship and cheating are thought as two sides of a coin, then that means cheating is just merely a phase, when it should "just" be a bad time in a relationship where everyone's bound to experience, without cheating involved.
Poor MC got crushed badly, but he recovered quite nicely and got a new&better girlfriend than Suzuka will ever be. Nice and classic story, I liked it.

The fact the MC put her down through logic rather than spite speaks volumes of his kindness and character. The ex meanwhile never thought she was at fault despite MC staying loyal. She was the one who STARTED a fling while MC. was working all over superficial reasons and not being supportive as a partner and being completely selfish to the end. "It's your fault" of course it's always the one who gets cheated on whose supposedly at fault. Always gaslighting and making it seem like they're not doing enough and then having the audacity to cheat and daring to blame it on anyone but themselves.
Would have been a perfect ending if Suzuka had come back to Yuto's apartment and saw Kagari's shoes next to Yuto's and caught them in bed together. Yuto could have then told her "It's all your fault". That would have been a very poetic justice ending.

I love how Kagari turned into a hissing cat when Suzuka ask MC to get back together. She wasn't only angry on how selfish Suzuka is but scared as well that MC would agree with Suzuka. But as expected, MC flush Suzuka down the toilet for good
Wait a sec... When Suzuka left, she left with some fighting words. Stating that the MC is going to regret it, this and that. They should have did a quick little followup on what happened to her afterwards to show what she said totally backfired. Like, she was already getting shunned at work, maybe that eventually caused her to quit and unable to get a new job and resorted to the nightlife for a job.
Just thought that the story should have showned in the end who actually was the one who regretted.
I would've gone with a darker outcome, but that's just me.

@@Yabby216 There's been a couple. Sekai no Fushigi did one off the top of my head where she dumps him for some 'rich elite at conglomerate' guy and he drowns his sorrows in a bar to his co-worker. Then they go to Disney Land. The episode ends with him finding out the dude's company went bankrupt.
Another one that comes to mind is a guy who gets dumped or cheated on (can't remember) that's drowning his sorrows in a bar and meets up with an idol and they start dating. The ex sees the idol and starts telling her she can do much better than MC towhit the idol rips into her. Pretty good one.
I honestly don't get why a business trip would take half a year. Where I work it is a week at most and a day at minimum.

I never understood the thought process of the cheating girlfriend. How can she be mad that 6 months after she cheated and dumped him that he has someone else? At least he was single when he started his new relationship. I've always hated the "just because I'm not with them anymore, they should be lonely and longing for me to return" mentality. It shows how self-centered and out of touch with reality they are.

Which isn't the healthiest option out there. There is some research done on this topic that shows it actually causes your efficiency at work to suffer greatly as well as deteriorate your mental and physical health quicker since you have stress added on to what your job normally does to you. I think the best option is to just take some time off to clear your head, do some things that you enjoy, and then get back to work.

Good riddance. Suzuka was an awful girl for cheating on Yuto for him being gone because of business, and especially for trying to get back with Yuto and insulting Akari. Akari was much better with how she held onto her feelings for him for 6 months before she had her chance to be with him. I'm glad her and Yuto became a couple, they're just so sweet together. Plus that headpatting scene was just too adorable and wholesome.

Just like in this story , Roy was also cheated by her girlfriend , Beth Wordsworth while being assigned abroad , just like this story , Beth also tried to get back at him after she got dumped by her new bf , but Roy choose Celicia , the girl that he met abroad .
As of this story , when I saw Akari crying after she got rejected , I know that she's serious on her confession , also , I'm impressed with how Yuto accepted his break up with his girlfriend , he kicked her out , and after her girlfriend tried to get with him , he rejected her flat out , that's impressive , well , it's something that her ex accepted .
