    Thanks for watching! I highly recommend this GreenStalk vertical garden planter to anyone looking to grow a lot of plants in a small amount of space. If you don't have a lot of room where you live to have a garden, or just aren't dead set on where you want a permanent garden spot to be, this is a great option!

    The " little separator " is actually the watering disk for that tier

    The item you call a separator is a watering dish make sure the holes in it are pointing toward each plant!

      Thanks! We enjoy using it and it’s super function, taking up less floor space but still giving an excellent yield!

    i bought one without the separators, how important are the separators ?

    • @TheGallowayFarm
      @TheGallowayFarm  6 месяцев назад

      The separators are how the water disperses from the top throughout the layers (at least on this one).

      The separators are THE most important (and patented) thing about the GreenStalk. You can’t buy a real GreenStalk without them.

    How does it get sunshine all the way around?

    • @TheGallowayFarm
      @TheGallowayFarm  Год назад

      We leave it in the back porch so that it gets both early morning and late afternoon sun. You can certainly rotate it if you feel the need as well (:

      Buy the spinner (with or without wheels) and rotate it a quarter turn each day.

    So how did it go? It's been a yr

    • @TheGallowayFarm
      @TheGallowayFarm  Год назад +1

      As far as the pros go - we love it! Conveniently placed on our back porch, we’re able to grow and harvest all of our herbs without dedicating a raised bed or garden space. As a bonus, when the top watering basin is dry, our cats love to lounge around in it and feel cozy and safe.
      The cons - it is a little hard to make sure everything gets sun evenly without rotating and the water basin doesn’t always work for us.
      As a word of advice, when planting, make sure plants or seeds are started toward the outside of each compartment. It can be a little hard to cover the roots, but if you don’t do it then they will get crushed when you put the upper layers on.
      Hope that helps!
