Amazing speech Asim and also your broad perspective for how to achieve our purpose in life. I’m pretty sure that the percentage of people who achieve these goals are probably less than the percentage of successful traders. like you said we all are willing to put some work and trust that some results will come and then adjust accordingly instead of create a vision, a goal and then surround ourselves with people, content and the environment that will lead us to that vision. I have a question: I have an edge and fairly good psychology, along with profitability, and my strategy is extremely mechanical. However, I encounter an opinion from my friend, with whom I've been trading and learning for 3 years, that instead of strictly following the rules, he looks at price action and decides, "I don't like this," then either avoids the trade or exits it because he prefers it that way. He has better results in three months than I do. Should I also rely on my judgment and, for example, not take trades or exit them based on my discretion, or should I strictly adhere to the rules? Hello. I am an engineering student and a profitable trader too. The simplest way to balance trading and studies, is to incorporate higher time frame trading. Swing trading. This will enable you to spend less time in charts. An alternative way is to trade at specific times of the day. Example 1 hour during the New York open. The rest of the day, you can focus on books. Atleast those work for me hope you will find it helpful

This is the thing tho . What about if you haven’t got the money to pay for a one to one with your mentor. Cuz I’m in yarimis course . I would love to have a one on one or even be in his presence and ask him to look at my previous trades n explain why I’m takin losses. But I haven’t got the money to do that. I’m young I don’t have access to that typa money. So for me it gets difficult I have to put more hours in and try to figure it out on my own .
