I sold my TPI KTM after endless issues, and it leaving me stranded a few times in the woods. Rode a friends 300 ranger, and loved it! I just got a chance to ride a 300 ranger. In my opinion, it is a "xtrainer race edition" Power like a x trainer, but with a much better chassis and suspension. I could ride it fast and have a blast, unlike a x trainer.
I've been riding my 200 Ranger (serial # 00035) for several weeks now. Love it! I'm an older trail bike rider with no intentions of racing anymore. However, if I did...this would be my bike of choice. It instills so much confidence. I rode it all day yesterday in the wet, rocky, muddy mountains of PA. It lives on the first half of the throttle. I also own a 2018 GG 250 EnduroGP that has been tuned and lowered to act like a Ranger....It has all of the same high end components as the new Rieju Pro's. Riding the two bikes...at normal trail riding and fire roading speeds....the overall difference in quality is negligible. Motor wise..the 250GP has the torque...and the top end, where the Ranger doesn't. I dont care, as I just dont use the top end enough to matter. Great vid, well spoken, articulated and produced. KYB OC sounds like a great choice for that sort of bike. I wish the Beta's went with the same KYB OC for their non-race models.
I'll take a 20 year old KDX any day over a Spanish " RAGU". 8k sounds expensive for a low tech trail bike. Parts backorder from Spain could take forever and ever and ever....sounds like they'll be around for about 2 model years and then go the way of the Cannondale.

Electric starter in oil bath? Where did you get that from. Its the ring gear, mounted on rotor, that is partially submerged in oil, therefore lubing two of starter transfer gears.
While they might not be ideal GNCC race bikes, I have seen many of these bikes in the Hard Enduro World Championship and other hard enduros, and from what I see they seem to do pretty well even in the pro (Gold) classes. Considering the KTM brands are moving to Braketek brakes for their enduro (XC-W/TE/EC) bikes, I don't see the brakes as much of a downgrade at all.
The irony here is that KTM buys up GasGas and expects more buyers by way of this strategy. Unfortunately KTM doesn’t appreciate the fact that people bought a GasGas in order to NOT buy a KTM.
