At nearly 60 I too love living alone with all my quirky fabulous special things and loads and loads of books … I’m an extroverted introvert which can be confusing😊
You don't live alone. You have a minimum of 1,076 roommates 😊 Seriously though your videos are so cozy and I find they bring me to a calm and peaceful place❤
Happy Birthday, Beth. I left myself a note to remind me that today is your big day (because I'm a dork). Thank you for all of the lovely content, and best wishes for many happy returns of the day as you create your new, happy life. -From Julie
This was such a treat to watch. I love art museums. Got to visit two this year for the first time, in Chicago and Boston. Had several hours to spend in each one and it wasn't nearly long enough.
I love your little record player set up, you have inspired me to get my record player set up again as it's been in storage for ages as I don't have speakers. Where did you get your speakers from?
Joni Mitchell. I'm going to see her in concert at the Hollywood Bowl in October. She saved me. Now buy For the Roses and Court and Spark. If the prices are compatible, buy your vinyl new. Record albums are easily damaged, scratched, warped, etc. 1,000+ books, becoming a full-time wedding photographer, a new interest in vinyl, finishing Songs in Ursa Major, you're just killing it! I sure hope that, after you've made these major life changes, you will continue to post vlogs about books.
I went to the national gallery in Dublin and beforehand was told to see the Caravaggio, but when I got there turns out it was on tour. I wasn’t aware as to where… turns out, it’s the one you saw in London 😅
I love being alone! I wonder sometimes if you would like books more if you read them to discover what they are rather than what you want them to be? Just a thought.
I don’t know if you’ve read Arrangements in Blue by Amy key. It’s non-fiction but it’s about living on your own and it also writes about Joni Mitchell. I’m not explaining it well but it’s a brilliant book ❤
Living alone with 1000+ books is my dream. Love that for you and your wedding photography journey. 📚📸
Same omg 😳❤
Your bookshelves are gorgeous 😍 love the way you have them organized! this is an absolute dream!
Thank you so much! 💛
I think it’s wonderful that you are living the dream with a wonderful library and living alone is fabulous!!! Yay for you and your lovely life
You have awesome music taste Beth! 💜
Aw thank you! 💛💛

I've been loving the music in your vlogs lately, and the little vinyl tour was so fun!

As a 30 something who is married with 5 kids I cannot imagine your life. But it is so fascinating how others live!
I read Beautiful Ruins years ago on a holiday in LA and it was the perfect summer read - enjoy! 😊

what an amazing vinyl haul! If I had a vinyl player I would have gotten most of those too :D
This was fun!! Gotta say I’d kill for some rain! It’s been over 100 for weeks here 🥵🥵🥵🥵
there it is (twice), one of my favorite paintings, Gallén-Kallela's Lake Keitele ❤ and nother nice vlog!

Not the ants in the pants 😩😂
Wow so many books! That's awesome! ❤
It does leave me wondering, do you have an idea of how many you own that are unread? 😅
Haha the first thing I thought when you said Joni Mitchell was “Love Actually!”
Love, Actually makes me want to vomit. It's a HORRIBLE movie, even with Joni Mitchell. JMO, of course.
Suzanne Vega is amazing. That album is/was one of my favourites. Enjoy! 🎼🎶🎵
You are living my dream

Beautiful Ruins ( I read years ag😢 ) because I think I saw somewhere it was one of Kate Moss's favourites 😶.

Was so disappointed with Midnight Feast … loved the setting but honestly it was such a let down
