for those saying henry didnt do all the stunts himself, he did but the clips in the video are from choreography. they did learn the whole stunt thing and then shot the scenes.
You are right that Henry did all of his own stunts. I have heard him say in several interviews that he did all his own stunts. I just heard another one yesterday and him saying he does & the host asked him if he did. He said YES
People don't realize that the stunt actors also need to rehearse. And the dudes fighting Geralt and Yennefer were stunt actors. Henry can't be there fighting with them every time they need to rehearse, so there is a stunt double playing the role of Geralt in this situation.
I can see why the Striga fight was different in the final take. Geralt was supposed to break the curse 'cause the Striga is Foltest's child. So, there's no way that the pre-vis version was going to be used. It felt like a brawl rather than Geralt trying to stall the Striga and wait for the daybreak. But I did like that pre-vis fight. It was great. Just a pity that it wasn't going to look right in the end.
Thank you Witcher production team for bringing us such a quality story and experience. Looking forward to next season. Take care and God bless u all 💛💜💙💚
DAIRA ALVARADO --- Anya Chalotra was not really doing Sword fight scenes. They only have her do some shots swinging around a sword & it is worked into the scenes with Lucy Cork who did all the sword fight scenes. Lucy is a female stunt women. Henry did all the practicing scenes with Lucy Cork for the scenes in front of the Cave & in the town of Blaviken. She did most of the sword fight scenes for Emma Appleton. Emma did some of the scenes but the more dangerous scenes it was Lucy Cork who we see doing most of the sword fighting. There are some behind the scenes on RUclips with Henry & Lucy Cork practicing the sword fight scenes for the town fight. The one I saw was for the fight scene in the town of Blaviken.
wow, the previs fights were way longer, more visceral, & some even have a better camere works & edits. Also that Striga fight with silver knuckle is way more badass in the previs scenes. Geralt actually struggled to keep the fight continue, trying to make the striga knocked out LOL
Wow did anyone else notice they have the guy that played the night king doing the stunts, 2 minutes 30 second in! I know he was originally a stunt man in GOT and they decided to promote him to the night King but I didn't realise he was involved in The Witcher 😎
if you take a photo that is not the original the quality will be low , when you render the video the quality is even worse so on the final you get a photo with a quality of 20-30% from the original
Paul Nicusor nah mate, you can find the same quality on Joey Bateys instagram. It looks like they are taken with a toaster with old ass retrica filters but, I dig it
maybe because it wasn't save enough if Henry Cavill falls laying prone so theu changed to laying supine? or maybe it's a simple camera work that didn't work in the set. It could be a lot of things.
AGM I think it was a combination of camera restrictions and cuts that balance better with Yen’s transformation which was happening at the same time as the fight.
@@samminicksm that is too. But the fight choreography is indeed slightly different. And I think maybe it's really for the sake of the main actor safety. :)
