Great video! Takes me back to my trip to Xi'an a few years ago - looks like it has become more modernised since then, but not necessarily in a bad way. The comparison with Florence is interesting as well. Two beautiful cities with plenty of history... and tourists! 😄
Daniel Stevenson this was my first time in Xi’an and I’m in love!!!! I got lucky in Xi’an cuz there was not nearly as many tourists as there would have been if not for COVID, but still, LOTS of tourists...
This was so interesting to watch! I hope I‘ll be able to travel there in the future although I‘m a bit scared about traveling alone as a woman.. I also loved the style of this video, everything looked so aesthetic and I really like the effects you used 🌟

I just wanna point out a coincidence. I'm having a solo trip in xi'an, this is my third day with no plans. I was not even gonna comment anything until the minute 7:21. Because that's the first book i bought in china, I'm speechless.
Dear Evelyn , I didn’t get what you mean by “ anxiety provoking display of people” right after you mentioned it’s the Muslim head quarters . In the West we have been hearing a lot of things about the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in China , I am only asking that by you using these specific words about the specific quarter associated to Muslims has actually given a very wrong message to me as your Muslim audience . I won’t judge in what you think I would like you to elaborate on this specific sentence please ? Because all your other videos give such calm and cosy vibes . Thank you and I am loving your content as I have mentioned before .
Don’t you think it’s a blessing to have been stuck in China because of COVID? Just imagine the mess you’ll have to deal with and chances of getting the virus if you were in the US?
