Excellent video! I’m going to picking up one of these lights soon, and I’m looking for a modifier for it for talking heads. Would you recommend the Light Dome 150 or the Light Dome III? Thinking bigger might be better
In theory bigger is always better but at some point it becomes hard to set up and make the peocess easy, the 150 might look the best but the LD III might be the best of both worlds! 😄
@@davidgodi that’s a great point. I’m upgrading from a 2x2 softbox, so even the LD III will be bigger than what I’ve got now. Going to be picking up that and the 300c since it’s on sale, thank you!
@@davidgodi I really wish i could see that with my eyes 😅 everyone is telling me because its rgb it wont be as bright … i wish someone would compare the two but thank you for your reply 🤝
Great video! Could you compare it the amaram 200x s by any chance? I am divided between the two and looking foward to having both of them one day. Just wanna kmow which one to buy first considering im broke lol
You can definitely use it as a key light outside, but you’ll need to keep it pretty close and use a reflector, using a softbox will decrease the intensity too much in my opinion 😄
Hey man, some friendly advice. When you review these lights, could you do us a favor and do something similar to lighting up a car or side of a house outside from 30 to 40 ft away? that would be way more helpful in terms of gauging the power of this thing compared to what I've seen here. I feel like NO reviewers actually do this. Would be great if you could beat your reviewer competition, because if you did stuff like this you'd be my "go-to" reviewer for sure. Thanks! There are just too many shots of you talking and not enough footage of real world use. Just kind of frustrating for me.
This video is soo slick! Awesome to have you on board David the God🔥🤩
Thanks so much!!
I love this light. Killer work dude.
Thank you so much!

@@jessegimbelthats a great combo! 🔥
Thanks for creating this amazing video David! 🫶
Glad you enjoyed it! 😄
Awesome vid David!
Thank you Miro!!
I know this isn’t an audio review, but what microphone are you using for your studio? it sounds super crisp!
Thanks! For this video I used the Sennheiser Mkh 416!
Which light would you say is brighter the 300c or 200x
I haven’t done a side by side comparison to confirm but according to the specs the 300C is 2000+ lumens brighter than the 200X 😄

200x S is lighter, cheaper and has a little less power but the 300C also has RGB capabilities. So thats basically the only difference!
😍😍
thak you for this review, how better between 200x and 300c like a key light
I’ve used to 200X for years as a keylight, and it has been amazing! It’s only if you want the extra RGB colors that the 300C would be better 😄
@@davidgodi did you test 300c like key light or , and thank again
@@brahimgasmi4883 yes I have tested it as a keylight and it’s works very well with lots of power!
@@davidgodi ♥️ thanks
@@davidgodi Isn't the 300c output strength much better - if for example filming interviewee against a window?
How long can this light be on at maximum power without overheating?
I’ve never had it overheat on a project, so I guess probably a long time!
Great video!
Thanks!
Can this light be used to work during the day outside? Is it bright enough for that?

u thik better get 150c or amaran 200x for firts keylight , some product photography light
Can i used this in my studio in my home ?
Yes of course!

I’ve watched almost every review on this light and seen this same comment on all of them lol
recommendation: give a little room tone to your audio. It's "too clean", sounds like voice over in a booth. otherwise, great video...
Thank you! Will do that!
This is to much quality for RUclips
Thank you man 👊🏻
