I was a yellow freight driver for 12 yrs when it closed in end of July. Was teamster honestly union is good till they close place and you have no job. Hrly rate was low benefits were good. It isn’t all that. Been out of work since it close collected my 26 weeks of unemployment and can’t collect another dollar now have no medical insurance. Been looking for work like crazy and have since one month after was laid off. Have 20 years experience as a truck driver. Something going on
I found out ages ago rat race is pure garbage it was also when I was made redundant how poorly I was treated for my long service 10+ years it was brutal f corporations and yeah I just got out of the rat race. Paid off all my debts mortgage car credit cards and started my own business said f u to the corporations

yeah, I suggest you start building up your skills online and getting into a trade that you enjoy and can monetize from. Best of luck man
