Thats a good thing. Cause this video is false. Its only a circle because its reflecting off the water. You can tell because it breaks up over the tower showing how it was only a reflection from the water below.
It's strange we don't SEE working science models of rainbows except outside (lawn sprinklers)? It should be easy? A single light source and water mist? They should be making rainbows in elementary schools as learning science project. What's the issue? I think they'll find a glass dome is needed to complete the project. Please science teachers prove me wrong!
Very easy to replicate with a prism, but the problem with using a light source outside is that your eyes will only see it if the dominant light source is behind you and the refractor is at the right angle. The sun is usually the dominant light source while other sources cover a very small area of our vision and/or are less intense than the sun. But it is easy to replicate in low light environments, ergo a rave with LEDs and steam diffusers; so yeah, instead of using a simple prism in a dark room like they did to me, they should be making small rainbow kits for schools.
@@stamythezombie I'm not saying it's impossible to make colors of the rainbow; it's the 'bow' in rainbow or the full arc. Please try that for school kids! Have you seen the 360 degree rainbow?
Thank you.about 25 years ago I was told a rainbow is round and I was fascinated and I tried to research but found nothing,so today I found this after remembering and you have made a little dream come true thank you. The wonder of the net and RUclips.
It took getting to 51 years old before I found this out. I'm embarrassed I didn't figure it out myself. Oh, the shame-free anonymity of the internet. I'm still gonna find that pot of gold.
Bro you hardly see rainbows in Ireland everybody just associates rainbows but nobody in Ireland associates Ireland with rainbows just rain or the 5 minutes rain then sun and changing back and forth
einfach nur Leo In order to get the pot of gold, one must go to the corner of the circle. But since circles do not have corners, you have to travel around the circumference at a speed of 70000km/s over and over again until you form a black hole and go to the 16th dimension. There, you will find where they hid the pot of gold.
I have seen one as a full circle from an airplane one time. Though I have a friend who insists that he drove under one. This video may explain how he actually did it lol. Thank you.
I did not know that a rainbow is a full circle. I learned something new today. I guess all those stories when I was a child growing up about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow made me believe that it was an arch plus that is all I can see. I love rainbows!
I’ve seen one end of a rainbow on the ground in the middle of a field from about 10 feet away. It wasn’t a a full circle. It ended at the ground. It was so vivid that me and the others with me backed away.
Horse crap!!! So on what days or hours of the day does light decide on its own to use one or two light passes through water? Why not three passes for a tripple rainbow? It's the dome firmament and the single rainbow reflection from the waters separated from the waters to give us a double rainbow. Period.
Rainbows sure are beautiful and amazing! I love the colours but my favourite colours are blue and red. I did not know rainbows were actually a full circle and I thought they were just an arc. Anyway greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Why only certain droplets of water are creating this circular pattern? Or are they all reflecting light into this image at once? The order of the rainbow seems very mysterious.
They're actually 'rainspheres' and are reflection of the globe when there is rain and sun. Only the perimeter of the earth is reflected in technicolor because the inside of the circle is the reflection of the earth itself, which has no color as the light from the sun is blocked, whereas the perimeter is wet and reflects light.
I first discovered rainbows are actually circles not arcs when I was 10. I sprayed my garden hose upwards away from the setting sun and watched light hit the falling mist to form a rainbow circle
How double rainbows are formed: water droplets refract the sun's light twice, resulting in two rainbows, one of which is slightly harder to see and has the colours in the reverse order!
They are primary rainbow which due to 2 times refraction and 1 Time Total internal reflection , red colour is visible to us firstly and violet colour at last,,
this is the promise of God to Moses for the flood that used to wipe away entire human race in the past. but, He promise it won't happen again and this is (the rainbow) the promise 😊
any kind man kind of so why are there tsunamis..... Why is one likely to happen in the next decade that will wipe out most of eastern America and Western Europe because of an island cliff that is about to break off. We have to stop it or else bye bye 1 billion people.
If it’s summer in America, shouldn’t rainbows be rings above our head and not interfere with the ground at all? Since the sun would be directly above us?
I knew this before the video. Not in a "I KNOW FUCKING EVERYTHING FUCK YOU" way but in a way that I thought I was on drugs or something when I was messing around with the hose and then I saw a full rainbow right in front of me and was like "holy shit"
It's cool when you know about it but it's COOLER when you have seen one One day at recess there was a 360 degree rainbow around the sun!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!

that music is beautiful.
@David Blake thanks for the compliment Dave :)
LIES!!! it works like a projection lens works light thru a glass dome creates the rainbows.
There is no end to a rainbow which is why you will never find gold at the end of the rainbow.
No pots of gold cause there is no end.
See the rainbow in riyadh from saudi arabia last video in my channel

Once I saw that circle rainbows but there were more then one rainbows
So it will be called raincircle. Because bow represents a half circle, but as we can see on the video, it is circle
IVE BEEN LIED TO MY WHOLE LIFE
Why only certain droplets of water are creating this circular pattern? Or are they all reflecting light into this image at once? The order of the rainbow seems very mysterious.
Its only a circle because it was reflecting off the water. Lets see a circle over land.
It's a circle because it is a reflection of the glass dome that covers the Earth.
I already knew this because you can see rainbow on CDs.
It's the glass dome that is reflecting whatever hits it making a rainbow :)
can you touch the rainbow?

Yes. Just go buy a bag of Skittles.
Yes, and no.
You can never touch your rainbow, but someone else can touch the rainbow you see. True story, kinda..

The real question is where is the lens or glass or mirror or prism that makes the rainbow possible
mr sin thats bc it's located in stratosphere which people dont know about they only know about Elon Musk car something nasa is only good for.

Why do they call it ovaltine, it should be called roundtin.. sorry your comment took me back to Seinfeld..
Because if you accidentally make a rainbow in your home you can see it being a circle.
