I just put the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss At on my truck. Fricken love them. Literally no noticeable road noise at 80 mph. I swear it’s crazy

      You gotta love those bajas

Baja boss is my new go-to tire. I have them on my Jeep and Silverado. I've tried most all brand name AT's and these kick all their butt's.

I hear from many they are so heavy they are hard to balance. 12-15lb heavier than KO3. I would like to try them if they made a 285/75/18.

@@purehealthdoc9157I had them on my New Defender for almost 3 years on 305/70/18 or 35.3’. I bought them from LesSchwab and take my truck to them for tire swap and find them always well balanced. They are fantastic tires for long overlanding trips and even when off-roading fully loaded

@@bdd1469 You can’t go wrong with most of these mentioned and I now have 300 miles on mine. You still slide around in icy conditions but I was out playing in the snow 2 days ago and braking from 40 mph down to 0 was pretty impressive and handling was responsive. I drive more on the spirited side so tire wear is going to be my biggest concern as I’m already sold on Mickey Thompsons performance.

I put the Destination X/T's on my 2024 4Runner Limited and it has performed flawlessly in the snow and on the ice here in Minnesota. I'd have to agree, at least from what I've consistently read, that the Mickey Thompson's would be slightly better overall. Great review, and glad you recognized the sleeper X/T's.

The Mickey Thompson is my favorite off road worthy A/T tire. I have sold lots of them and everyone loves them. I wish they would make the tire in a 35-12.50-15 for the older Jeep crowd.

I just put in screw in studs on my Ridge Grapplers this morning. Got a storm coming. They help fix ice issues with that tire. I’ll probably get another set when it’s time. They’ve done great pulling trailers and off roading and the noise is decent.

And it outranks almost all in its category in dry conditions (on road)

I loved my KO2'S until 25k, they got noisey, and started vibrating. I just replaced them at 29k. I chose Milestar AT Pro. $600 cheaper than the KO3 !!! They Growl a little bit, but they sure do Bite the snow ❄️ My old Tundra feels like a new truck!!!

For me it came down to the duratrac RT and Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT. I went with the Duratrac RT. Not that it is better the then the Baja boss at. I spend more time on the road so that is why chose the RT. I had the original duratrac. The RT is 10x better then the original duratrac. It handles so much better in the wet and dry. It’s quiet compared to the original duratrac. I’ve had in monsoon weather , ice rain and snow. It performs awesome. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.
So after many months of research and YT videos.I couldn’t decide. After to going to the local tire shops and reading all of the local reviews is what helped me make my decision. Remember YT influencers are paid . I found so many mixed reviews on YT.

I just put the Mickeys on my truck. Responsive steering, dead silent at 80 mph on the highway and great traction. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any premium tire but there’s always trade offs to every design.

All this tire, only the geolander xat are avaiable in my country. geolander xat might be my next set of tire after my current CST Sahara AT2/Maxxis Bravo 980 at worn out. Btw good video as always.

The KO three is a all-terrain tire, not a rugged terrain

Decent Video. But i wouldn't consider the Firestone an RT/rugged terrain, and i consider it leas aggressive than the Toyota AT3 and Falken WildPeak AWT4.

I know what you’re saying but its the only “rugged” tire in destination family, and also it’s pretty awesome 😄

@comparethetire It is a good tire, I sell lots of them with good feedback from Customers. Unfortunately, it's not a very good-looking tire , in my opinion.
