Update: As of January 7th, 2024, Igo discovered a way to complete the 3-6 end room with collecting only 1 stud, bringing the total down to 8. A video can be found here: ruclips.net/video/5fC7DFEMxW0/видео.html. Realistically this is the only stud I ever thought had any potentially of having a way found of being skipped, so 8 very well could be the number of studs remaining for a very long time.
@@Chantz0 In free play you can skip the "studs collected" screen at the end of the level and it only takes a tiny fraction of a second since you just button mash. The only time speedrunners will deliberately avoid collecting studs in normal gameplay is when playing the first level in a run which starts from a new game, because that's the only time in the game that the end level screens can't be skipped.
You need to put a character up top, and then push them close to the lever (close enough to pull it). The next thing you need to do it de-aggro from the stormtroopers, which will cause the character to put their lightsaber away, but they will end up pulling the lever instead of putting their lightsaber away. The process for de-aggro is quite finnicky here, but I can usually get it by just killing all of them and destroying the grapple hooks.
I can't see studs 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 being skipped without some major breakthrough in the game. 3 or 4 though maybe given that the only challenge is just platforming
@@WiiSuper sorry for the late reply, but do you think it would be possible to skip some of the studs involving pushing boxes by manipulating a CPU to do it for you?

Really gotta study the game to acquire this perfection
i don't know if i should punch you or thank you... i really don't know.....

Is there a minimum studs speedrun category?
I reckon it affects time taken at the end of level screens

Not officially, but a few people have done it as a challenge run to try and complete the game with as few studs as possible.
How do you set up the last trick in level 6-4? Like what specifically do you have to do to get it to work

May I ask if you have this on steam, How many hours have you played this game ? Amazing btw
I used to play on steam but I don't anymore so it is a bit harder to track hours, but I estimate around 5000-6000.
@@WiiSuper bro has spent his lifetime on this lol
Wait, how did you manage to clip through the doors in 2-3 and 3-1?
Would the drop out strat not work for the c3po panels in 6-4?
Can’t get close enough without picking up the stud unfortunately
@@WiiSuper damn
how would you rate the relative likelihood of each of these studs having a skip found for them?

happy hunting :)

@@jadaxmartian6599 with the current game knowledge, it is impossible for a cpu to push a box
@@WiiSuper impossible as in you can't get the CPU to a position where it'll push the box or the CPU is incapable of pushing the box?
