Great video! I've been reflocking my mallard drakes too. I use black rustoleum paint (oil base) then flock with green flocking. I let it rest 24 hours then add another coat of paint and flocking. The guys who taught me say the 2nd coat adds years before you'll need to reflock under normal use.
If you use the “can foam” use about a tablespoon or so of water inside the decoy first it will make your foam setup harder and more dense. Since the foam uses the moisture in the air to help it setup.
If the sand from the keel has leaked out how do you fix that and what other paint do you use for a mallard Really liked your video love your links through the ones that work
I tried flocking my decoys with paint I got from “flockingunlimited” and the flock came right off the decoys as soon as it hit water… does the paint you use withstand water ? Or do you need to use a clear coat for it too stick

Where is the link in the comments for the flocking materials??? And paint also .
This is very helpful I am tired of buying new heads for my dekes.
Check out the description the decoy flocking is the first link there! 🤘
When are you Flock your decoys is it hard to clean them and get the mud out of the flocking
Depends on how muddy you get them! 😂 Good power wash gets it done!
Looks Good Chip! What's the word on the boat project? Any updates?
