Two birds with one stone
I avoided watching this movie for ages because I thought it was going to be horrifically cheesy, however after watching it on a lazy Sunday night I was sad I hadn't watched it sooner! Tom Cruise makes this movie. His comedy style and subtle nuances make me adore this film. Its a feel good movie and I recommend it to everyone!

It's great. I love this movie. It also shows how a NORMAL person would react to a situation like this... instead of just being okay with everything that is going on all the time.
The film was not flop
FYI. The film made a huge profit just like most of Cruise’s films. He has been the most consistent at the Box Office compared to any other actors.
Actually it was a flop, it's reported budget was at $117 million meaning it needed to gross double that at least to be considered anywhere near a sucesss, it only grossed $261 million.
I'm not calling in the quality of the film because I really like it but the film was a flop.

Something about this movie just fits together. Great over the top but till fun action sequences, nice locations, decent comedy, and great acting. It's one of those movies that critics won't love, but it is super fun.

So freaking funny & great chemistry between the 2 actors. I'd like to see them do more films together in other genres like maybe a horror flick? Or whatever.

Such a brilliant movie. Just watched it for the sixth time since released. The Cruise/Diaz chemistry is phenomenal. Surprised that they didn't do more movies together or even a sequel?
This came out when Tom Cruise was at a low point in his career and was his first “bomb” in decades. - Ghost Protocol would follow and be the return of cruise.
They worked together in Vanilla Sky also. That's a perfect movie too, but different kind of mood.

10 years later and this is still one of the best, if not best, teaser trailers ever! I played the trailer over and over when it first came out (and still do) at the time when Apple Movie Trailers would ACTUALLY let you download their trailers and saw the movie in theaters! It's one of my favorite movies ever, I've watched it and this teaser trailer a thousand times. Cameron Diaz is prolly my favorite actress, I love her!

I've been waiting to see this and its such a fun movie... Tom is so calm, cool, and collected and then, Cameron, she's down right off the wall and comical... they are a perfect on-screen pair. I'd watch it again... I laughed my ass off!
I saw one of mission impossible movies on TV, and for no reason i thought of this movie. i remember how i used to watch this movie alot, and missed it. 10/10 would watch again even after 7 years 👏

Really fun movie provided you go into without a whole lot of pretense and just accept it for what it is. A romantic-action-comedy. Wish they would've made a sequel.
I read rumors about a sequel, but Cameron Diaz is currently working on a Netflix movie, and after that she might retire

You know what I want to know? How is it that I never even heard of this movie until July last year, and I live in a major city in America and work in TV and Film? I am so glad I decided to watch every single Tom Cruise film to celebrate his birthday last year. That was a gift I gave myself. All his films are amazing, he has never made a bad film. This movie is one of my absolute favorites, so fun on every level.💕🎂
