So, just to reiterate, why not try this. Don't join a street gang. Don't steal. Get a job.
Stay in school. Learn a trade.
Stay away from drugs. Don't get pregnant at 14. Think about the military for a job.
What else? Oh, take out a loan and pay for a car instead of stealing one. Is that a interesting perspective?

I'm a black male, I have no crimminal record, I work a third shift, and I go to my university where I study epidimiology, almost immediately in the morning. While walking to my university I was stopped by 2 officers who said I matched a description. One of the officers asked me if I have ever been arrested, I said "no". He asked me the same question, in which I replied again, "no". He asked me how old was I. I said 27. He states, "And you have never been arrested before?? Come on." Let's just say my blood boiled and the other officer got between us and they left after running my I.D. This was just one of many times an officer had stopped me for vague reasons and have been disrespectful. That badge and gun, gets to their heads, and they bring it on themselves. I respect the difficulties of their job, but unfortunately because of my mostly negative experiences with them, I avoid them.
