It is crazy. I watch your videos since years. I had a S1000XR in the past and bought in June my new S1000R. Right now I can see what is possible with the Bike. Cannot wait until i fire up my bike in Spain begin of March in Aragon and Valencia. And to watch more Videos frum you. Have fun.
Thanks man. The new bike should be quick no doubt; I will have a video in the next couple of days that will explain why I'll be focusing more on consistency than flatout speed. The times will drop eventually. 😉
Nice! EBC GPFAX pads work amazing, not too aggressive on the rotors, strong initial bite. The EPFA series are a little softer, but it's a 50/50 pad that you can use both on the street and track, they're cheaper as well. For tires I'm really liking the ContiRaceAttack 2 tires for a 50/50 tire, and the ContiSlick if I'm using warmers. From what I've found they're cheaper than the offers from Michelin and Pirelli and have very good durability. Also check the Metzeler RaceTec TD Slick, I found at really good prices and good reviews, I'm looking forward to trying them.
I used to do 1080p and be done with it to save in storage, but I've been shooting in 2.7k resolution lately which looks a bit better, still not up to 4k, but better.
Nice riding! My best time on 2018 Panigale V4S was 2:24.000. I always struggled with lots of traffic. This is on Pirelli slicks, exhaust and all the basic track mods, but nice to see someone ripping on a tourer. I placed an order for MXR with all the options and plan on doing exhaust, tune and whatever else. Maybe some day in the near future I’ll make a trip to COTA and see how it performs .. but your riding here gives me some assurance I will like the MXR.. 👍
2:24 is moving! That's the best time I've gotten myself on the Speed Triple, hoping to at least match it this year on the S1000R. MXR should be an amazing machine, I'd love one myself but I know the demand is going to be high and quite expensive for now. Maybe I'll wait until next year to see if I find a good deal.
I had no idea Speed Triple could get anywhere near those times! , but now that I looked at its specs it does look pretty spicy. I knew only a handful of top gun club racers who could go quicker than that.. Agree, MXR price with the packages is up there around $34K or so. This is more than I paid for Panigale V4S back in 2018. In fairness though bringing Ducati to MXR spec will cost more.
@@TheSuperpododdly no side bag provisions on the MXr. I have a few buds who canceled their orders because of this. I’m on a 23 Xr and love the platform. Came off a V4 Streetfighter that was well built also.
@@robertwotring7318Thanks man. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t include any provision for hard luggage even as an option. I typically run a single top case on long journeys, but I made some peace with soft luggage I guess. I was also disappointed that it can’t be switched to race shift without aftermarket or some crafty modifications to the shift lever.. My guess it is because pegs sits much more forward than RR and R. My benchmark is SuperDuke but since new GT won’t be available for at least a year I had no choice other than this MXR. I do want 200hp, my only reservation is that I am so used to crazy torque down low and no inline 4 does that. I also had experience riding Multi V4 PP and V4S SF.
I want to add. If I were BMW project manager I would make MXR a single seater with RR subframe and swing arm and provision for one top case. Minimum weight - minimum load. And damn race shift of course.
Wow, you've taken to the s1000r like a duck to water ! Will you do a BT flash ? this latest 1000r engine seems to make more power when flashed compared with the earlier engine - the bike seems faster down the straights compared with the xr with ,it being a smaller bike helps 🙂
I know you have your reasons for not getting a fully faired sportsbike, but gosh you spend a lot of time at the track pushing hard. Ever considered finding a used gsxr-1000?
Awesome video! Looking forward to the S1000R videos!
That's remarkable, this kind of consistency os the first advanced step to riding like a pro. Now you can start chasing lap times! Loving the content!

Dude! Awesome riding Cuban! I’m full of envy! 💚 smooth and clean lines. Amazing circuit! Looking forward to seeing low 2:20’s on The single r! 💪🏽

Smooooth as silk mate. Love it!
Phenomenal!
Looking great my friend, hope I see you at COTA soon.
love it... es hipnotizante bro.. saludos mi querido.

Smoove indeed! This Multi fan boy finally got an XR. What do you recommend for Brake Pads and Tires for the track? Gracias amigo!

Nice! Did you upgrade your video setup? It's always been good, but the quality on the front-facing view seems improved.

Not yet 😉this is back in November with the stock XR. The S1000R should be easily 4 seconds faster once I find some open track.
Damn 😂 u beat everything on the track with the XR
I don't doubt you ! Looking forward to seeing more this year 👍🏻😎
🔥🔥🔥🇨🇺🇺🇸
I jealous 😭 I just want to ride track and drag knee
Since you frequent the track a lot, why still stick to nakeds and not a proper supersport?
I enjoy the riding position more.

I have considered it, insurance costs still too high, maybe I'll get a track-only bike in the future.
I wish i lived in TX
We might leave Texas in the next couple years. Track-wise is very nice, but summers here are unbearable.
You still have the s1000xr?
Still have it.
@@CubanRider dont sell it 😉
