First Impressions of Córdoba, Argentina: Relaxing Vibes & Churches better than Buenos Aires? [#91 ]

In This Episode, Sayu Rinpoche bids farewell to Buenos Aires - for now, and travels to one of Argentina's oldest cities (and also the nation's second largest): Córdoba. After a failed attempt to buy a local football/soccer match ticket at Club Atlético Belgrano's home stadium (Estadio Julio César Villagra in Barrio Alberdi), Sayu decided to fully indulge in the city's relaxing vibes, grand historic churches, and a seemingly more authentic Argentinian way of life that were very different from Sayu's experience in Buenos Aires....Come on, what gets better than drinking a glass of Mendoza wine, eating a plate of delicious meal, and watching a music fountain show at Paseo del Buen Pastor?

La Cañada no estaba seca, normalmente es así, es un arroyo. Sin embargo, cuando llueve junta muchos afluentes por desagües y en minutos el nivel del agua puede llegar casi hasta la cima. Es por eso que se construyo el canal tan alto para evitar inundaciones.

Just Paris and London can be compared to Buenos Aires, and it's no coincidence, like Paris, Buenos Aires was demolished shortly after Paris was demolished (to be rebuilt as we know it today), and rebuilt in the image of Paris with its architectural styles of that moment: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau/deco, and with the layout of large boulevards/avenues/diagonals and proliferation of parks, like Paris.
Buenos Aires is nicknamed "Paris of America"
and in Argentina the only other city similar to Buenos Aires is Rosario, the second city in the country by population (municipality + suburbs) and GDP.
