The commitment the Russian citizens have to driving on sidewalks is admirable. But the commitment Stop A Douchebag has for correcting this behavior is even more admirable.
Think of those children learning this primitive culture from their already demoralised parents. Total lack of social empathy any perception of being a member of larger community. Calling those drivers apes is a complement. Thank you Douchebag for your great work! :)

I like it when you stop people from getting onto the sidewalk instead of letting them drive for up to 100m before stopping them. And a BIG "No Entry" sign would stop the people from being able to ask "Where does it say I can't drive here?"

Here's the mentality of these people. "Hey don't you know there's a rule that you can't film me?" as they break the rules of the road and there is no rule for filming in public.

Those sidewalks are as wide as the road, it's no wonder people try to drive on them. This seems to be such a widespread problem that it'll never get solved without the police taking it seriously and handing out some hefty tickets.

It's clear that people have been driving on sidewalks for so long, and getting away with it, that they literally don't see anything wrong with it, and indeed, some of them actually think it's legal. That is a hard culture to change, especially when law enforcement appears to be fairly apathetic about it.
