- I recorded this on a hot hot day in sunny San Diego. I contemplated not sharing the video as I was unsatisfied with the performance, but acknowledging all the effort that went into making it, I decided I'd get over myself and share it anyway. :)

Upon hearing the first lyric, I voiced a quiet, "Oh sh*t.", meaning, I knew it would be good. This song has been a request of mine to some singers when I get enough courage to ask. I am so glad you did this. The feeling and mood, the way you sing this is just perfect. I sit here and I just sink in. It's such a moving performance. Hearing how beautiful this is, I imagine if I didn't know you, how it would be such a privilege that I did. And here I am lucky to know you. Rachel. Beautiful. So so so so so so beautiful. You did so good. Ah! How fittingly you felt this song. I can't imagine another cover by another artist doing this this well.
On the third listen, finally watching (not just listening), there were flashes of lightning and rolling thunder to accompany the song tonight. Wow.
