Nice one! I bought this recently for £56 from books etc here in England. I have a massive collection of graphic novels and omni's but barely any absolutes! I thought omni's were enough for me but even though i've many favourites, Watchmen will always be my number one so I had to purchase this classic! Absolutes have pulled me in now though...lol...I've got Batman killing joke, Doomsday clock, Watchmen and I've ordered Batman year one ( my favourite batman tpb ) and Preacher vol 1 ( Love Ennis and Preacher is incredible) so these few absolutes no doubt will start growing like my big Omni collection! I tried to keep away but these massive books have drawn me in damn it!! 😂😃✌️
Nice! I love me some Omnis but I really do think Absolutes are perfect for material like this. I have Doomsday Clock still gotta check that one out. I’ve heard mixed things but I love me some Watchmen material! Thanks for taking a look 🙏🏻
Great overview on this one budd. Been waiting for it! Watchmen is one of the goat’s. Such a great and gritty story. This is definitely the format to get it in. Imma have to order this soon cause it’s beautiful and it’s a story I want to revisit.
Yeah man this is one everyone needs in lathe collection. Being it has so many reprints just about everyone does at this point lmao. Ya gotta snatch up this and Doomsday Clock ⏰
I’m 22 and trying to read through watchmen right now and it’s a struggle tbh. I haven’t found much pre 2000 that I like. I always find older stores too wordy for me. I could see why it’s time changing though in 1986
Completely understand. Honestly these days after reading so much modern indie material it’s a bit of a chore reading any older stuff. I can always revisit some of the classics like this tho. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Are you talking about Alan Moore exclusively or comics pre 2000 in general? I havent read watchmen yet, but I have a hard time liking his stuff for now… Tried to read from hell and couldnt finish it. I read also some of the extraordinary gentlemen stuff and it was meh. I read the courtyard the other day and it was very poor and disapointing. I want to try swamp thing now. And watchmen. But most of the time I find his stuff either overhyped or pretentious because what s the point of doing wordy comics this way? Boring to read. Write a book instead … but i havent read watchmen yet (saw the movie and the serie though).
@@dgeci I do enjoy some pre 2000ish comics. I really liked killing joke, Batman year one, animal man by Morrison, leaven’s last hunt, and others. Watchmen wasn’t bad just very dialogue heavy
