Link talking is the only thing that’s concerning to me honestly. To be the main character in a full length movie he’s going to have to talk a lot. If they call somehow pull it off, I’d be impressed.
I haven’t read them myself, but from what I’ve heard the Zelda manga have good adaptations of a talking Link, I imagine those could be used as inspiration?
They should make the first movie with young Link and later use the same actor for adult link in a sequel, justifying the live action choice. The problem is that I can already see them hurrying and making him an adult right away
interesting, I could see a fun “Back to the Future Part 2” type story where Adult Link could time travel to Past Link’s story? This movie is so far out, I never even considered what a sequel could look like
i honestly prefer the idea of a live action zelda, they have the opportunity to become as grand as LOTR. but its hollywood, and sony. it's best wouldnt be as good from something like studio ghbli. i just hope it not at its worst. btw i am BEGGING for ganondorf to be someone good, give me more matt mercer if you have too.
I agree that I think of all the games, Twilight Princess would be the easiest to translate to Live Action with its art style, but I fear the story would be really hard to condense to under 3 hours
@@lorenzotalkNot saying Twilight Princess' story specifically, cuz you're right, that would be more fitted for a series. I just mean movie in that tone and style. Btw, the manga is great if you haven't read it.
If Link actually will get a voice in a movie, I would love to see the horrible nightmare that will unleash across the Zelda fanbase.

"Who cares about art, it's probably gonna make a bunch of money, anyway."
Well, you sure nailed Nintendo's attitude.
I have zero hopes for this movie.

I am more for a live action Zelda. I want a dark epic gritty adventure like Twilight Princess, and I think live action would be perfect for that.
