As a Kenyan, I can relate. One of the worst ass whoopings I got was when my dad headbutted me twice in 2020 and after that, my mom slapped me a month after. At that point, I hated my parents for the rest of 2020.

I once ate sprinkles and I “snuck” sprinkles as my parents say. My mom went in the pantry and saw that there were less than there were before. (I was stealing snacks a lot during this time) She asked who ate them and I blamed it on one of my younger brothers. I don’t remember if I owned up to it but my mom said that my dad would handle me when he got home or something like that so I was scared ofc. Then at night time I was wearing tights and I think they called me to the living room and he whooped me like he was playing baseball. I had scars and bruises on my legs and my legs were sore. They then told me to go upstairs saying I wasn’t in trouble and I think he said he didn’t want to whoop me ir something. That was the first time being whooped by him. They also did that annoying thing where they tell you to be quiet and stop crying. I told them I can’t cuz that crap hurt and they were like yes you can. Moral of the story: don’t steal because stealing is wrong obviously and just don’t do stuff especially if your parents whoop you like they are hitting a home run
