    In my previous video I gave you my views on 5 Fearsome Factors that make Japanese superstar Naoya Inoue such an effective proposition in the boxing ring.
    The 5 factors were his widened stance his use if the jab as a trigger, his crushing punching power, his use of the centre line/flank/target concept when punching and his willingness to take risks.
    In this video I provide you with 3 boxing combinations kick-starters that bear the hallmark of the Naoya Inoue boxing technique.
    The 3 boxing combinations are:
    1. Jab (with a step in) and the lead hand hook to the head - the is based upon the concept of the jab being used as a trigger.
    2. Back hand uppercut to the chest/chin followed by the lead hand hook to the body - this is based upon the concept of the centreline/flank/target concept.
    3. Lead hand hook to the body followed by a straight back hand to the head - this is based upon the principle of Inoue being a risk taker. You can lessen the risk by reversing the combination i.e. starting with the back hand and ending with the hook to the body.

    The only reason why inoue didn’t go for the body at the beginning was because of donaires vicious left hook...He only went for it after he felt that donaire strength was fading because of age...absolutely calculation.

    I like it when guys like Floyd and Prince Naseem Hamed.............and this guy, make the smaller weight divisions relevant/noticeable. Theres so much talent out there and I think people ( certainly myself ) are guilty of just focusing in on the HW division. Guys like this, Tank and Loma make those divisions really count.

    During my boxing lessons I should learn some footwork. Now it's more a cardio boxing lesson. The emphasis is too much on cardio.

    • @justinkennedy3004
      @justinkennedy3004 4 года назад +6

      Work on footwork on your own time. It's hard for coaches to see the little imperfections but you can feel if you're doing it right. Drill, endless drills.

      for your knee: wrap it around with toilet paper a few rounds , on it, you wrap your knee with aluminium poil that you normally use in the kitchen. that too about 3-4 rounds. pull something tight on it such as a yoga pants or a knee guard. sleep with it the whole night. continue daily till your injury becomes history. all the best lah.

    • @myboxingcoach

      Should have shown a side view - looks like a lean forward but is actually a hip rotation...body stay's central (some weight onto the front leg)
