It was def their goof, lotta people share “big” steaks and the waitress had to wait for the son and the dad to come to agreement about it being blue cheese stuffed. Sounds like they’re sharing it. The waiter shoulda asked at the end of the order something along the lines of “so you’re sharing the big filet mignon?”
Anchorage is my hometown. Thank you for the little bit of feel good about this beautiful spot on the planet..... And there's so much more. You might have to do a follow up.
What about the Wartime documentaries what about the exploded bodies and dead people laying on the ground and gore. Is that what made you love Vice? Because thats where it all started Wartime documentaries. Gotta love Vice they show the many faces of life.
It like this everywhere here. Even more pronounced in the villages. I currently work for the grocery stores out here. There’s always an after party, somewhere lol
Not a terrible little tour of some popular spots in town. The habitual vulgarities are a little bit off-putting imo tho. Blabbity fuck shit fuck fucking shit blah blah... You don't have to be well-spoken, but show some class, guy. Clean it up.
I love how you are featuring LOCAL anchorage, Alaska, opposed to tourist trap anchorage, Alaska. This guy has great energy. Glad to see some of my fav spots featured.
OMG, Someone who recognizes the greatness that is Club Paris! I get so tired of the “where to eat in Anchorage” videos that bypass the great originals in favor of the trendy touristy outsider imports. The Carousel, a freezer full of halibut and salmon, pancake mix and beer batter, even a mention of Mad Myrna’s and Xtra tuffs! OMG, I’m home for sure! Thank you, from a 76 year old who doesn’t get around much anymore.
@@davinci3379 You're welcome. You know you can edit your own comments, don't you. And thanks for using actually meaningful adjectives, and not "wholesome" like everybody else.
I'm from Anchorage. My father used to be the bartender at Carousel lounge when I was a teenager. It used to be a Hells Angel spot there clubhouse is nearby. Good solid dudes who looked out for my pops when he was in his last years around 2005. Rest in Peace Scotty Grossman. Thank you for showing some love to the great Northwestern City of Anchorage, Alaska. I love it. 907 all day Brodie. I love munchies they do great stuff.
I'm glad Anchorage is getting it's recognition. It's not a large city but it has great food, beautiful scenery close by, interesting people from all over. Lived there for 2 years.
Thanks #Munchies. These local tours are the best. LOVE LOVE LOVE that last song -- wish I knew what it was called. Obviously... these are the coolest people in Alaska. Thanks Nick for sharing your family, friends, fun, and best of all your music.
Literally the best vice video I've ever seen, brought me to tears from how wholesome it was. I've been in a rough depressive patch for a while now and this was really something that just hit my heart the right way. Thank you.
Hello Nick i am from Singapore i am 40 years old. Thank u so much for showing us Alaskan life what u guys eat and drink and how u guys party. Honestly Alaskan food looks delicious!
Best episode yet I’ve been watching for years upon years I’ve always wanted to move to Alaska turning 50 next month is it to late ? I love the cold everyone who knows me knows that this makes me think I can do it baby and his music is amazing wow cool cool people is so important just be cool ❤❤❤
What a wholesome episode! Local here in Eagle River. Now I have a few things to cross off my list! I stay in a lot and don't go far. So I now have a plan to go to these places! Such an amazing I'm grateful to live in!
Lil Dairy!... This dude is a character I could watch him often 😂 I've always wanted to visit Alaska. Definitely up there on my go-to places!! I'm a city gal but small towns are so fascinating, special and comforting! Love it
I hope I can find someone like him. He is so cute and I love his music. I love to see his interactions with his family. He seems to have a good relationship with his family and his partner. Also I need friends like this haha
Great episode Anchorage is “the”1 of a kind city in U.S. Vice needs go during Fur Rondy, do some ice bowling, Reindeer racing, snowshoe baseball & see the “traders” from trappers & indigenous. Otherwise, nice job shoutout to Club Paris, growing up there in the ‘80s our parents treated that place like an elite club where they shoulder rubbed from everything on politics oil, construction, union, business… it was so 50’s gangster vibe back then, but just a classic now w/ the best steaks. Love sharing the of the overall culture of icecream (we love the icecream!) hunting/fishing, coupled with plant based food options.
