We are very lucky in the Midlands as you know Mike, its a shame freight movements have decreased down your way, but I have been watching your old footage of the great day when the class 37s ruled such a lot of working in South Wales. Thanks for watching, all the best Mike.
Looks like treacle town (my home town) is a good spot for spotters. I wondered why there were so many spotters from out of town on the platform back in August, the first time I'd been on a train for a while.
The treacle town ref is tongue in cheek. Unflattering name for Nuneaton a town of which despite the issues all post industrial towns face I am proud to live in and to have grown up in and around.
I've seen this pair of class 47s top'n'tailing class 360 emu units Northampton to ilford at highbury and islington and stratford after modificationreafy for when they (360) run betwenvorby and st.pancras
Its a Railhead Treatment Train David, which operates in October and November, I will be putting a video out later this month on a lot of these trains around the Network.

Great work again Mike, for me the icing on the cake was the 47s🙂.
Great choice Bryan, I missed them the first time they passed through the station.
Interesting selection of footage at a very busy Nuneaton.
Cheers Paul, I had a very short time there.
So pleased it's busy where you are. Very quiet here in S/Wales so I'm showing 30 years old clips, happy memories too.

Quite unusual to see the Leamington go from No. 2 Am I alone in quite liking the class 70's? Lastly, great shot of the 47's
No you are not alone, I really like to film the Freightliner locos, the Leamington service goes from platform one Julian. Regards Mike.
