man I remember that game from when I was way younger. I guess this is a newer version but loved to play it as a teenager :) I think my dad gave it to me haha the flight sim nerd
For sure! I went with a more cinematic feel this time. I'll make sure to include mission recap and overall "HQ Stuff" in the storytelling going forward.
Landings with the Mustang can be difficult but I recommend getting low idling the throttle and just flying the plane and it will eventually settle down
Start with 3 point landings putting all 3 landing gear down at the same time and once you feel comfortable move to 2 point putting just the front gear down and bleeding speed
Sweet p51. I love those things. I have questions. Ive been thinking about getting in to aircraft as well & i see the IL2 cliffs of dover blitz is cheap but i no longer have a flight stick only a xbox controller or mouse & keyboard. Do i have to have a flight stick? What's the learning curve like? Should I buy a different version? Thanks.
Not sure if it's compatible with a controller. It's rather accessible when compared to DCS for example. And I'd recommend Bodenplatte as it's the most recent air campaign released and quite popular.
I love this game. But I really hope milsim & flightsim devs realize just how much more immersive their games would be, by investing a little bit extra on well acted voice assets for AI.
how the hell do you get these good bomber escort missions? i just did a p47 bomber escort mission and encountered no german planes. was this a glitch or did the devs really think flying for (several hours at least without 8x speed) 40 mins doing nothing is fun?
gotta feelin Gary gonna die 😢
We all die eventually. But most of us never live. Gary... He lived, my man.
I hope not. I'm like emotionally invested at this point.
The guys at the workshop are not happy but the air commander says these are not grounds for firing Gary.
The man delivers results... At the expense of propellers
POV: the first few seconds feel like a movie.
Always the goal. Hope you stayed for the rest of the seconds!
This has been one of the coolest things on youtube, watching from the beginning
please keep this going even if you die. this series is so intense and unique loving it dude
Just finished a mission. I'll be editing over the next couple of days :)
Nice! Enjoying the series. Been playing the game a lot myself. Mostly multi-player on the Finnish server
It's excellent!
Really interesting content. Parts of it are like a mini series I'd watch on TV, I let out a gasp when those tracers started racing over your head!
So glad to hear this! Thank you! Exactly the feel I'm going for.
Amazing video, the P-51 was always my favorite plane
Thanks man! I LOVE the Mustang.
First time seeing you on doorkickers 2, love your stuff dude keep it up
Thank you!

Could you go over the awards and recap the missions more?

The P-51 is a plane that needs to be set down quite gently and I think thats the main reason you keep having such hard landings
Start with 3 point landings putting all 3 landing gear down at the same time and once you feel comfortable move to 2 point putting just the front gear down and bleeding speed
Love this series.
Thanks for watching!

@@ControlledPairsGaming Thanks. I need another stick.
love the il 2 vidoes coming
Thank you! They're really fun (but hard) to make.
Expecting to see you roll out in the tank crew expansion, keep it coming.
It's on the list 🤙
nice
🤘
Well flown mission. Landings can be harsh. On a par with Doug Rangle's iL2 videos.
Thank you so much!
Just saw this now. Are you still flying?
Question: Did fighter pilots ever carry binoculars to aid in sight?
this video really reminded me of the movie red tails, haven't seen that movie i recommend it
It's awesome
yeah
Long live 🎖️Gary🎖️! 🛩️:::::::🔥✈️🔥
Haha let's hope so! LOVE those emojis.

What is the game name?
IL:2 Sturmovik

Man, you could dramatically increase your accuracy if you stop taking low percentage shots at distance and off angle.
It gets better I swear.
Hey first
Quick with it
Did he get a kill? Then put another prop on his bird and stop complaining.
That's what I'm talking about!
