As a niners fan, I hope this guys turns his life around. I remember watching him and he’s definitely a beast. Almost to a fault, as he would always injure himself with shoulder stingers and hip pointers when he was playing for us.

Great Video. Such a heart-breaking story from just 18 months. I loved the Foster draft pick. He just can't stay out of trouble.
49ers already had Aldon on the books in the past, it was the correct decision to release him and could easily have done it sooner.

Great video man. I like how you are so well researched and put a lot of these stories into perspective. You take stories that I remember just a few headlines from (in this case being sent home from the combine and draft stock falling) and give us the whole background and fallout from it. Really really good content, and great storytelling. Thank you for content like this.

What a great show. You get into the complexity of who the athlete is. These guys are off the charts with their athleticism, but they're still human, like the rest of us. As is typical of your shows you delve into the the athlete's past and how environmental factors play a big role in all of our lives.

One small detail you missed was that the 49ers had set up a way to keep him accountable and to stay out of trouble. Even Sherman was willing to take him under his wing to help stay out of trouble but foster just couldn’t stay away. I feel for him and hope he’s able to turn his life around.

I think its worth stating that the 49ers held him through the first go around of legal troubles and told him that they weren't going to tolerate any other legal off field distractions. When the altercation at the team hotel IN TAMPA happened, that was the last straw.
