Best sound system ever?
I have an GLC 350e coupe standard Harmon Kardon i dont know ho i feel if it is worth to upgrade to Burmester couse i love already the standard couse it have so good bass like ''BRRRRRRRRR'' if you know what i mean.

I got the same shit only on a Glc 300. Mad sound. Wished I kept the factory JBL since it's my first Benz looking forward to get the new GLE 43 or Coupe. Next yrs model. (Another thing I noticed you don't have the column speakers next to the door mirrors like the trucks). PEace bro

I have a 2018 c63s. I absolutely love the car and it looks so cool in the magno grey. Unfortunately, to my ears, the Burmester sound system is awful. Absolutely no guts to the sound whatsoever. By no guts I mean a massive hole in the upper bass area. I wish I had done some research before I bought the car. I guess i was so excited about the car that forgot to concentrate on the stereo. I just assumed that a Burmester stereo would sound great. I have had Audis before and both their Bose & B&O systems sounded good . I have to say that to some extent it spoils the enjoyment of the car - which is shame. In this test video the bass is on 10. A quality system should not require the bass on 10 as a starting point. You can cure the problem to some extent by using the eq on premium Spotify and boosting at 150 & 400 hz. However, if you are planning to buy a C series and music is important to you, then I recommend you have your own critical listen to the Burmester system for yourself before you buy.
It’s much much much better in the s class. It’s so unbelievably good. No other car comes close to that.
@@MG-yu6do you must have never heard the Meriden Sound system in the high end range rovers. That system will literally blow your mind with how rich a clear the sound is. Unbelievably good.
Find out the subwoofer sizes and buy aftermarket ones. If I had this car with Burmester system, I’d still change all the speakers. Nothing beats aftermarket speakers.
Same feeling here. Just got the c63 facelift and when i started to listen to Music it sounded so awful i tought the soundsystem is broken.
MrUmluft are you going to change all the speakers? If so, which brand?
Was it distorting or was it bc of the bass bc I hear none. I’m assuming distortion because the speakers are being pushed to the max
after having the coupe for so long do you regret not buying the cabrio. I am confused between the c200 amg coupe vs cabrio 2019. What do you think ??

Great speaker but I still think they should have put the harman kardon or B&O in the c class

You have to add a 10” alpine type R subwoofer under trunk to perform the bass and the soundquality in general...
Is there a way to add an external sub to the factory Burmester system to supplement the bass?
Brian Westfield yes shure! You have to take the hi-level audio signal from stock front subwoofer and the 12V current from the front battery and install an amplifier or directly an active subwoofer.
If you do, is there still enough space in the trunk for luggages? I get the C300d from work and so I need a attachable and detachable solution...

This car look dam sexy in black tints. I have a E but no black tints allowed in India.
Should put bass-9 Mid-8 High-8....I’ve never owned a Benz with this sound or bmw with Harmon kardon or any euro with ulfest whatever. But my man cave is powered by Harmon kardon and unless you’re going for throat tickling bass the next best thing to enjoy music and piss off pedestrians or other drivers is ear splitting highs.
