In this video I'm unboxing and reviewing the Maytronics Dolphin Active Solo robotic pool cleaner. For years I have wrestled messy hoses that became damaged and leaked or sucked air. The cleaners they were attached to lost power and stalled in my pool. Or the leaf catcher would fill and the cleaner would stop.
This cleaner has been a pure joy! It is super easy to put together and operate. It did an amazing job cleaning up the bottom of my pool and even sucked up fine sand! I'm thrilled with this purchase and think you will be too! Here's an Amazon link to one like mine: amzn.to/4bQLtPY
(I am an Amazon associate - that just means that if you purchase this item, I'll receive a very small commission. It will not cost you anything more).
This is an unsponsored video. I made it to be helpful to others in situations like mine :)

Did your pool cleaner fit inside your 28 gallon deck box? Looking to buy this pool cleaner and outdoor storage box for the unit. Thanks for this product review. I'm currently looking into purchasing one at Pinch-a- Penny

Thanks again for posting. I'm definitely going to share this with my neighbor. Poor guy is always out there cleaning his pool. No bueno :)

I’m living the same struggle. Lol. Nice video. We live in Gainesville, FL and I’ve been dealing with pool cleaning of our outdoor pool for years. We have a lot of large trees in our back yard so there’s always been a lot of leaves to deal with.
I just saw this model for sale at pinch a penny for 600 bucks and am considering. I saw your video which was very helpful. How has it been doing over the last week or so? I’m probably going to get the same model since it is on sale and I figure if there are any issues i can take it back tonight my nearby pinch a penny during those 2 years of the warranty. I assume those were your thoughts as well. I’ve been wanting to hold off on getting a robotic pool cleaner because I’m quite frugal and I didn’t want to spend 900-1300 bucks on those other models. This one seems like it is doing a good job from your video at a reasonable price on sale.

Yes, so far I haven't had any problems. I'm happy I bought it for sure!

@@diymaggie that’s great. I’ll probably get that one before the sale goes off. From what I can tell, that is the same as the 2024 model for dolphin e20. These pool cleaners often rebrand the name on their pool cleaners for Pinch a penny and leslie’s pools. I’ve been on the fence about getting a robot pool cleaner the last few years.

It works well. I have the old dolphin style that’s connected to my pump.
