Cool list man makes alot of sense. Maining arms, mage and priest
You can add advice on different damage setups for the shadow priest guide. Knowing when to mind spike burst and what-not.
Mindspike decreases MB cast time by 50% stacking 2x. So 2 spikes is instant mb. If you can cast Spike freely always start with 2 into mb then dots. Priming a target for a swap by focus Spike casting into them. Low hp and need a kill it's a good tool as well. 2600xp
hungering cold was an instant cast cc for frost DKs back in the day. but this changed in the latest season and that is the patch we are playing on right now in cata "classic". so now they can barely ever get their cast off which is their big win condition tho and that really cuts their power level by a lot. blood dk (all tanks) were also better in the first season because vengeance was not capped and could stack indefinetly. that is why u saw a lot of double tanks in 2s because u had to target at least one of them and that one would then put out incredible damage. but since we are playing on the latest cata patch this is now also irrelevant

Hit 2300 in cata season 9 back when I was 12 on resto Druid. Played with twin brothers we did enhance shadow priest resto Druid. We never played a single mirror match! Loved it
Reading this, it's funny how I did accomplish stuff like this as well when I was 17-18, but now being 30+ I can't even beat people in duels. Hope you can still hit that rating
@@IzzoSkizzy People were just shit back then. 2300 most likely isnt going to happen with that comp now. People just were not as tryhard back in the day which made such combos viable in the first place.

@@IzzoSkizzy really? Back then I spammed arena all day and never got higher than 2.4K. Now I’m 36 with a full time job and I got to 2.4K in no time playing with randoms lol PvP is so much easier now with all the addons.
@@VelpkeTrials it’s not that people were shit back then it’s more that classic isn’t anything new. And addons make the game so much easier. I’m getting higher ratings nowadays while I barely play the game than I ever did when I was younger and spamming all day.
Yeah I did arena all day and night with my sister and cousin and she was owning. She was a rdruid, my cousin.. she was a bm hunter, and I was a prot pally finally hit our first 2400. Was so happy, my mom was proud and my sister could finally say she was a dope gamer! Follow your dreams! Girl power! Power puff girls!!

I think at the start holy paly isn’t the strongest, but it definitely will outshine disc priest and be up to par with resto sham later on.
Holy pals will never be on par with resto shaman. Simply because shaman’s kit is far superior.
@@andrecardoso6941 we’re going off cata gameplay from years ago. People have modernized and updated their play style to where holy paladin is actually super strong later on due to pve gear.
@@felipefurtado2156 no, I am going off their strenghts and weaknesses. I don't know what PvE gear has to do with it. On the last season casters such as affli locks and fire mages break the game with dragon soul gear and they synergize much better with resto shamans. Resto shamans have tremor, grounding totem, purge, passive healing, better CC, ranged kick, totem that buffs caster's dmg, better mobility, etc. In no world holy paladins are better. And you can't take into account what happens on private servers. And even on whitemane I barely see any holy paladins topping the ladders in 3s. Unless you talking about 2s but who cares about 2s specially in Cata.

To your thoughts on whitemane, you’re wrong. Because there is literally no 3s ladder on whitemane since it’s always been dead. What makes holy paladin stand out as a top contender is the fact how strong their heals are due to their toolkit.
@@felipefurtado2156 PvE gear in cata PvP was never a thing besides legendaries and on the last patch dragon soul trinket and weapon for casters. Cata isn’t wrath where PvE gear outshines PvP gear. Holy paladins always have the strongest healing spells but in 3v3 that isn’t the main thing. In the last patch MLS becomes ridiculous strong and they counter holy paladins so hard. Doesn’t matter if their heals are OP if you can’t heal or stop casters. MLS is by far the strongest comp so what makes holy paladin superior to shaman? I’m never going to base healers on their healing output alone. Holy paladins have always been great into melee comps but it just so happens in the last season casters dominate. I was talking about whitemane cause it’s a popular server but I quit cause there was no 3v3 arena. The bracket was dead yea. Even in 2s I didn’t see many holy paladins on the last patch. Are you talking based on OG Cata? I’m just curious I could be wrong.
I was top 3 in all brackets as enhance sham in og s9. Turbo cleave is an S tier comp. Enhance owns in s9
Fire mage is A tier with specs like afflic, unholy, and frost?
Fire Mage and AFfli locks are S tier in later phases.
Survival hunters are pretty decent actually and fun. Definitely not on the same level as MM, but I’d say we’re Atleast B tier

only reason i think holy paladin is stronger this season is because like you said all the S tier specs are physical damage dealers and paladins are actually good vs those since armor shield bop bubble while priest and rshaman can get run down alot if not played right with teammates peels etc

Your tier list for arms puts them in dumpster tier for season 9, and he puts it in S, how the fk is there that big of a difference in opinions xD
What patch are you basing this tier list off? Or just your personal experience back in the day? Helps a lot to know what patch you are basing this list off of compared to the season. Because as you know classic cata is going to start on last patch for the first season.
My hope is that blizz puts a cd on the petswap (60sec? 90sec? 120sec? idk enough about hunters to know what the number should be) so that hunters can keep a bit of that gameplay but it's not gigacheese

is arms really s tier?? I wanted to main arms but after watching a lot of tier lists I got the conclusion that they are s tier in pve in later phases but not that good in arena? and that made me wanna main something else.. but if arms is tier in pvp I wanna go warrior

They force hunters to do that pet stuff. pet res is 10 seconds. You'll never get that cast off 90% of the time. If your pet is taking damage, it's best to dismiss and call a fresh one. Or if the pet does die, since you'll never get it back from res, you have to abandon or risk playing the whole game missing 25% power. Prevent pet abandon while in arena but give hunters a minor glyph to reduce pet res time. Might also see an increase of BM hunters with this change too.
can druids break outof roots by shapeshifting? is this gone?

Swap Ret Pala and Arms War 100000% for sure...Ret is S tier, war drops to A tier. Disc drops to A tier also because they lose a lot of DMG which made them really good in WOTLK.

Feral needs it's own tier for Cata pvp, that spec was absolutely disgusting. Saying that, I'm still undecided on going Feral or Unholy/Blood for Cata hahaa
Fury warrior is the hardest i have been ever hit and i only play pvp. I think its def an S tier for bgs but i never faced one in arena so idk about that. But deff its better than arms in bgs.

Ele sham in C tier is the wildest take. In 2s, sure its meme territory but Ele wizard cleaves are going to *shock* you, especially in season 10/11
I mean he repeatedly said in the video that casters will rank higher in later seasons and that this list is specifically for season 9
Ele is mid. Even in their prefered brackets people take fire/boomy/afflic even spriest over an ele. Ele gets a lot stronger in mop.
@Magetastic69 its still very vible in 3s lspal is really good tho requires great coordination, ele has strongest burst in the game u can do 80 % of someones hp in 2 globals, although its sustain and survivability kinda lacks
@jenkinsleeroy4164 arcane has higher burst imo, but I feel you. No definitely 3s is it's spot and has its comps, but it's so trainable and lost a lot of defense losing the 30% dmg reduc while stunned. It's just not meta, highest I'd put it is B for overall performance.
In mop with elemental blast & ascension is when ele goes top tier. I main spriest and the R1 spriest at the time, Talbadar, swapped to ele during mop and brought it to blizcon. In cata its just not on par with the wizards imo.
All I remember from Cata was ele shamans damage is hard to deal because flame shock just gets spam cleansed
unholy dk is definitely s tier, feral and arms are not.
All ima say is this. In 2 battle groups the highest 2v2 players in thr entire BG in OG cata where double blood dk. And they were only prior 1900 exp players, got 2600 as back peddlers that season.
I feel like you can never compare OG to classic since people were dogshit at chain cc and communicating so classes who could sustain themselves just outlasted their opponents
@richponani9607 no, people were not dogshit at the game back then lol. It's such a fallacy people fall for. The skill ceiling was the same, less add-ons, and what you're thinking of is LESS people were good, but they weren't less good. The knowledge wasnt all over youtube like it is now. Like I've been 2600 multi class since original and the only thing improved is information is easier to track with newer addons.
Vengeance wont be like was in 4.0.0. Itll be fixed like in 4.3.4. Blood dks wont do damage

Why do Blizzard love druid, hunter and priest so damn much? Seems like no matter what those three are always on top. Priests made SOD unbearable and because they were so broken people cried and complained and rather than fix them blizzard completely destroyed PVP! Total joke. I am sick to death of this game feeling like the class matters more than skill
