I have a 13 year old daughter she is my last child who is home so it was just her and me and her dad this Christmas and her brother came over to open some presents with her. She stopped after every present to thank and hug us and talk about her items. She was so grateful and excited all day. I am so glad I raised her to be grateful even for the smallest gifts.

The bath towels gave me serious Ruby Franke vibes! During the pandemic, Ruby gave one of her daughters some towels for her birthday, and told her she'd have to share them with her sister! I grew up poor in a family of 8 kids, but my parents did everything they could to make Christmas so special and magical for us - really the exact opposite of this family. When I was very young, we generally received one gift each, but our parents stayed up most of the night on Christmas Eve and decorated the tree, so that Christmas morning, it was the first thing we saw! We found out many years later that it was started because they couldn't afford to buy a tree, so dad would go to the tree lot on Christmas Eve right before they closed and get a tree for cheap or sometimes free. The memories from Christmas are amazing!
You know…I originally followed her and watched her pretty regularly. One day I randomly fell on your vlog and my view of her was completely COMPLETELY & forever changed. I never ever thought about how askew my view of their family actually was and how these children, especially her biological children are facing a different kind of abuse. Thank you for opening my eyes to this story.
This will all backfire on her.Ultimately, she'll be sending out into the world spoliled, entitled, unappreciative, lazy adults who have no idea about basic self or financial responsibility. And she'll eventually lose the ability to buy their love and/or acceptance.
Hmm not sure if that would backfire. Tbh i don't think she cares that much about what her children will do once they moved out. She probably just forgets about them/erases them out of her memory and does not care about them anymore 😅
Imagine plugging in 11 mini fridges. Is she trying to blow their house up? And the lack of reactions from the kids is the saddest thing ever. A PS5 gets tossed aside like it's a pair of socks. I remember when my brother and I got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas and we were absolutely losing it. I'll never forget that Christmas.
I got my parents presents since kindergarten, even if it was from Santa’s workshop at school. Honestly it was my favorite time of year. My father who I am no contact with is an abusive alcoholic, but I couldn’t wait to get my mom something special. When I was younger, it was small and silly. But still special to me and to her. But I went to Catholic school and we learned about gratitude, compassion, discipline and responsibility. And learned very young. Santa’s workshop even for kindergarten kids speaks to that. I hope so badly to have a miracle to pass these traditions onto at 36. The one thing left in life. We have so many traditions. I only have my puppy right now after the miscarriages, but we even wrote a letter to Santa. Santa came to my puppy. He had his jammies on. We left cookies and milk and carrots out. Made reindeer food. Watched Christmas movies. Just me and my pup. Call me whatever you want but that’s all that I have right now and all that keeps me going yntil I hopefully have a child before early menopause from cancer treatment unexpectedly…and then we went to my mom’s to spend Christmas.
You're already making memories with your child❤ I do little things for and with my 1 year old cat and I love it. He's my child and I love having something to look forward to for us around the holidays. Trust me Momma, your baby appreciates it❤❤
i have a weird feeling that late middle to late 2025 you will conceive unexpectedly. the pregnancy will be difficult but you will deliver your baby healthy. you will get that christmas with your beautiful rainbow baby. i’ve never had a gut feeling like this, but after reading i felt like i needed to share. i never check youtube comments either. maybe god sent me to you to deliver a message and some hope🤞❤
I feel so bad for those kids. It’s not their fault that they don’t know the value of things or how to be appreciative. Unfortunately it’ll affect their adulthood and potential spouses and/or children. All because of choices their parents have made. They need therapy, one on one attention, and quality over quantity.
the fact that she keeps bringing up the damn mini fridge and their excitement that literally wasn’t there is hilarious to me she definitely knows they didn’t care lmaoooo
We had to be a little more selective with gifts this year, because of financial difficulties (we all know its hard!) And my kids still SQUEALED with excitement when they came downstairs and were so happy and grateful for each gift. Those poor kids are just so fed up, and you can tell.
My heart breaks for Zoey. She literally couldn't wait to get out of there. And Lush didn't even bother putting her in any part of the video. James is also a literal sweetheart looking for recognition, and he got nothing. So sad. All of those children deserve love and memories around holidays, and all Lush does is avoid them all. So sad. Lush didn't even deserve the Dunkin gifts.
Them opening presents reminds me of the scene in the original Willy Wonka when Vercua’s dad has all the people opening all the chocolate looking for the golden ticket. Just open and toss open and toss.
This is the most quiet present opening I have ever seen. At least lusha isn't sitting in the very middle smiling awkwardly the whole time like she was last year .
Watching Zoey was heartbreaking. She opened a present, didn’t really look at what it was and put it on a pile. Then, opened her towels and then put it all back into her sack. So sad 😢
I think she just wanted to get it done and get out of there. I feel for her, she’s stuck in the middle between the younger kids and the teens, and it’s obvious she doesn’t like having a camera in her face all of the time.
This is insane. Not only the lack of excitement/gratitude, but the fact that Alisha & Josh can’t realize that they have children who come from chaotic lives & probably most of them have some amount of anxiety, and make something like Christmas CALM & enjoyable for them. The one waiting to open her presents/wanted to open them by herself last year was so freaking sad to me.
I would just love to take James into my home ,he's such a kind, sweet, humble and big hearted young man,he's so mature for his age,And give him hugs that he deserves,James is going to be somebody awesome when he moves out because he has a good head on his shoulder and knows what he wants to be when he gets older ,he's a awesome person already I'm just saying when he's older THE SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR HIM..
Oh absolutely. I spent well under $200 on five (10 and under) kids and my husband and we had a beautiful Christmas and the kids truly appreciate and are enjoying their gifts 🎁
I remember a couple years ago my husband and I got our daughter her first iPhone.... That girl cried We got our son an oculus...he cried And so grateful, and thankful It isn't hard to teach children how to be thankful I don't put that here to say were great at parenting....but its basic to teach being happy with what they receive...even if it's socks
With all that money she could’ve bought a new house already where the kids would have a little more privacy. Or at least some clean/not broken furniture.
We had 12 people, 5 of which were kids, this year. We even played two rounds of white elephant. We let everyone open a gift one at a time. It only took us about an hour, and we got to see everyone enjoy opening their gifts.
I grew up with 4 siblings. We never got to just open gifts. We each took a turn, one person opened one present at a time and everyone watched. I loved this tradition because “christmas morning” was a several hour event. The only thing we all got to open at once…was our stockings. The last 2 presents under the tree, was what we all looked forward to the most. They were a giant bone and tennis balls for our dog… our pup would be so excited (we would all entice her to rip the paper and open them herself ❤)
We have 5 kids under 7, they opened one present at a time this year. Most of them they opened all the way up and played with for 20 minutes before being ready to open another gift. We kept a big box in the middle of room to put trash in as we went so we finished the whole thing in time for lunch with a clean ish house and kids rolling around barbie cars and having pokemon wars. Watching this amount of chaos and no connection is sad. One day it'll click for them and it'll be too late. It's a joy to be the one behind these precious memories for our kids and Alicia is missing out on that.
I think the kids would be more excited if she blew money on a new clean carpet and furniture and redone their bedrooms! I’m a clean freak and I would never sit on her furniture or eat anything at her house!
In our house we take turns with every single gift. And after a gift is opened, the paper goes right into the trash bag. I couldn’t handle that kind of chaos. How sad.
Exactly! We do the same, 1 at a time and then paper right into a trash bag. I love to see all 4 of my kids open all their gifts and they like to watch their siblings open and see what they got. It comes once a year why not take our time and enjoy the moment.
That's how I also do it with my kids they all get there own time to open the gifts while everyone watches they also all take the trash bag when the other open the gifts this year we went oldest to youngest 17 - 12 because its always been youngest to oldest so we made our youngest wait I thought I was weird letting them open one at a time 😂😂😂 we also add little gifts into stockings and leave them till after tea for that little extra opening in the night always done it and will continue that way takes longer but its always intimate and my kids are always grateful even for a book or jigsaw what they ask for
Same. And I have 10 siblings. 😅 Our Christmas is so warm and intimate...each person taking their turn to open a gift and ohh and ahh over each other's gifts.
I feel gross talking about what people have their home, car, clothes or furniture. But when you throw so much money away why in earth does the kids room furniture look so beaten up and like someone’s hand me downs. The whole house looks like no care is put into it.
I agree. She has all this money to blow but doesn’t blow it on the right things! Who takes their kids to Vegas for a vacation?!? That’s the last place a kid wants to go. Go to some national parks. Hell, even an amusement park would be better for the kids.
None of them buy any of their siblings gifts. What did they give Alicia, coffee and Coke? These kids could not care less about each other… which isn’t their fault. I find it really interesting how they never get each other birthday or Christmas gifts. The two sets of twins are obviously bonded to each other, but I doubt that there’s a lot of love going around between the rest of them.
Omg. Dad challenge. I freakin love you. Finally someone real. You say exactly what everyone is feeling. I love when you stop and call everyone out Your REAL ! Love your program. I’m hysterical watching you. I’m constantly like. I love him lol 😂
Can we all take a moment to notice that the first shot of them opening presents was filmed with Alicia literally standing on the back of the couch over Bre? 🤣 “Alright kids open your presents and pretend I’m not standing here on the couch like a weirdo!”
Zoey opens up her gifts so fast and then leaves the room and then when Oma and Opa give them gifts Zoey again opens the gifts and bails again. I think Zoey absolutely hates this stuff
Not only does she not teach them to be grateful or thankful but also they aren't learning to be generous or giving. They don't exchange gifts with each other. They could pick names and at least buy something for one sibling.
My husband takes my boys to go get me a gift and I do the same for him. They also buy each other a gift, we give them a small budget it’s so wonderful to see my kids thinking about what their sibling might like. Come Christmas morning they are so excited to give their brother the gift they brought. It’s one of my favourite parts of Christmas watching them love on each other.
The few kids who DO say thank you are ignored nor is it acknowledged. They will eventually stop saying it. The ones who do not even know to say it are treated in the same way.
Ok I def don’t have a dozen kids but I do have 4 aged 6-11 and this is NOT how we do Christmas! Every child takes turns opening one at a time so we can see it, appreciate it, and get a thank you! This is madness
@@meliss9536 exactly! I always try to remind them that it only comes once a year and in the blink of an eye it’s gonna be over, so let’s try to prolong it and enjoy it!😆
One thing I’ve always noticed about James, he’s such a kind and gentle soul. The animals are always around him. That’s telling who takes care of the dogs.
I’d love to go through all her videos and count how many times her and or Josh hug their kids - do a hug count. I don’t remember seeing them give their kids hugs in any of their videos which is crazy because there are so many.
Yes no hugs no kisses no warmth no love no kindness nothing Alicia has nothing to offer those kids so why she choose to have them because of money its so evil and selfish when you think about it
For real though, there's no excitement. My kid walked in on Christmas and his first words were "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!". The gift in question was a 50 marker set and new sketchpad. He was so incredibly excited.
You are spot on. Those kids were not excited about Christmas and that's sad. There was no magic in their eyes. She needs to lay the million presents under the tree next time and pass them out. At least they can visually see a ton of presents under their tree and maybe it will bring a little freaking magic back.
The Hershey chocolate bar is 3 lbs. was $30 at my store. My son wanted it . He loves Hershey’s. But I love his teeth more. So it stayed at the store. 😂
I told my 12 year old grandaughter it would be a leaner Christmas than she was used to- mommy is a single parent - so is my son - his son said I love it about everything he got-her uncle got her a five dollar eyeliner set and she squealed with joy - he knows his niece - mawmaw and pawpaw got the clothes and boots etc - none of us blew the budget and she said best Christmas ever - it’s being together and knowing the recipient that matters
I’m 28 and I still can’t wait for Christmas! I still get so excited to see what my parents and family have gotten me but I’m also extremely excited to see them open the gifts I’ve gotten them! And now that I have a niece (she’s almost 1.5 years old) it makes Christmas so much more fun and exciting!
There is no way in hell I would be picking up all that paper and cleaning up the kitchen with all those kids around not helping. Christmas or not. (I would never give them that many presents to begin with) This was all very wasteful.
So glad you are doing this about DD's Christmas. Who the hell has a full face of makeup at 7 am?? So, does anyone believe in Santa in that household?? Honestly, I focussed on Z the entire time. She quickly did her gifts, then again this year, packed them up and left the room. So sad. Then the fridges....Those bedrooms are so damned crowded with junk
@@vickiyoung5651The whole house is a fire hazzard. Imagine how overloaded the plug sockets are. Also whats concerning is how easy it would be to get out of that house if a fire did break out with how over crowded their rooms are...
I can't imagine my daughter not saying thank you after opening a present, when she was at her Nana's and was given a present before she even opened it she went and said thank you and hugged them and than opened the present cause she was happy with no matter what the present was, she asked for 2 things for Christmas so of course she got both, she wanted a makeup vanity and Gabby's dollhouse friendship boat, and when she came out of her room and saw her makeup vanity she just stood in the middle of our living room speechless and than she sat on the couch with me for a few minutes before she good process that she recieved her vanity and it was there! @@ple-o6e she will probably disown them, unless of course as josh said their is a way they can make money still (like a sports star) some of these kids are going to be left with nothing feeling like don't belong, needing more therapy than they did when they first went to live with her
My brother always got a 6 pack of Glass Coke form Santa every year. But he was always so grateful for that gift. He passed away last year right after Christmas, and Santa still visited with a 6 pack of glass coke! In Alisha’s case however, she doesn’t deserve anything like that, and her kids have so much and are not grateful for anything
She needs to be careful with those mini fridges. People have been saying they almost catch on fire. Plus imagine how overloaded the circuits are in that house😬
In my family it can take us 3 hrs to open gifts because there is like 13 of us and we open 1 at a time. And take our time. My mom started that tradition like 15 yrs ago. Im with you there Josh.
The fridges are ridiculous!! That's a nightmare waiting to happen!! Rotten food in their bedrooms for Alicia to clean up as the children do not hhave to clean up after themselves. 😞
Watching this made me appreciate Christmas with my 3 teenagers…just the 4 of us. Took us over two hours to exchange gifts. It was so much fun that I forgot to even take a single photo. ❤
I feel for these kids. They are being neglected emotionally. Some of them look so miserable 😢 even though they have it “all” (as in material items and food). Edit: typos 🙅🏽♀️
There's absolutely no joy. It's all so assembly line. Open a present, chuck it. Open a present, chuck it. Next, next, next. I have adult children, and I'll be honest when I say that I spoil them for Christmas, because they NEVER ask for anything. They are beyond grateful, and it's so great just to sit and watch them open everything. I took zero pictures or videos. Just enjoyed the fun of the day. This is so incredibly sad.
No one is excited because they’ve already seen their gifts all over RUclips. The amount of “you’re such an amazing mom!” Comments I see in her videos, BLOWS MY MIND! So many mentally ill people in our world.
My daughter asked for a few “expensive” things for Christmas but the most expensive were AirPod pros I told her those will have to wait until her birthday..then I got them 😂 her reaction was great! She was def not expecting them. my children are very appreciative and not to mention they woke us up at 5:30 to open presents. I like seeing my children’s reaction to what we got them. We hand out presents to each child and they open 😊
The only thing I don’t agree with is making fun of what Alex and his girl friend got Alicia for Christmas. They are only 17, he has his first job, he was trying to be thoughtful and get his mom a gift. Yes it’s a lot of coffee but clearly that’s what she likes. 🤷🏼♀️ idk I’m not for making fun of the kids.
Rewatching this makes me tear up. Imagining these children just wanting a single afternoon with their mothers love and attention and not getting it. It breaks my effing heart. 🥺 These children deserve so much better.

I was really disappointed in Alex. He opened the nikes and said "How old are these?" And then sat there and watched Josh and Alisha clean up.
Disrespect.
This will all backfire on her.Ultimately, she'll be sending out into the world spoliled, entitled, unappreciative, lazy adults who have no idea about basic self or financial responsibility. And she'll eventually lose the ability to buy their love and/or acceptance.
None of them are going to want to move out 😂
Hmm not sure if that would backfire. Tbh i don't think she cares that much about what her children will do once they moved out. She probably just forgets about them/erases them out of her memory and does not care about them anymore 😅
Like she did with N when she moved out. Disgusting. @@clairelenia6338
@@LilJigglypuff999 What did she do to N? Was she 18 yet? Did she cut her off?

Imagine plugging in 11 mini fridges. Is she trying to blow their house up? And the lack of reactions from the kids is the saddest thing ever. A PS5 gets tossed aside like it's a pair of socks. I remember when my brother and I got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas and we were absolutely losing it. I'll never forget that Christmas.
She spends all this money on stuff but won’t invest in a larger home so they don’t have to sleep 3 to a room. SMH.
Yeah, I always wondered about that. Where do they put all the stuff?
I think from past videos its been said shes taken out like 2-3 mortgages on the place so they can't afford to get out of that hole.
They need a bigger home. These kids deserve privacy as they grow.
They need therapy, one on one attention, and quality over quantity.
i'm surprised that CPS has not stepped in.
Roof over their head. Running water. Food in the house. If they have those things, cps moves on.
wow I haven’t really thought deep about it in that way
Especially Alex. He's going to be 18 soon
the fact that she keeps bringing up the damn mini fridge and their excitement that literally wasn’t there is hilarious to me she definitely knows they didn’t care lmaoooo
We had to be a little more selective with gifts this year, because of financial difficulties (we all know its hard!) And my kids still SQUEALED with excitement when they came downstairs and were so happy and grateful for each gift. Those poor kids are just so fed up, and you can tell.
Yup! Same here!❤
My heart breaks for Zoey.
It’s nice that I’m not the only one that notices that
Great comparison. It shows gluttony and greed.
That dog was so calm with James in the middle of that chaos. That was cute.
This is the most quiet present opening I have ever seen.
At least lusha isn't sitting in the very middle smiling awkwardly the whole time like she was last year
.
I would've taken my bag to my room and opened them away from everyone else😂
@@kayladavis7140 Me too, that would be way too chaotic for me.
And Alicia didn’t outline her gifts
I'd say I paid less than one of those kids bags for my whole Christmas. My children were all thankful and appreciative of the gifts and time we had.
Right I spent $100 on 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids under 6) and I thought I went over board holy hell lol
Oh absolutely. I spent well under $200 on five (10 and under) kids and my husband and we had a beautiful Christmas and the kids truly appreciate and are enjoying their gifts 🎁
I remember a couple years ago my husband and I got our daughter her first iPhone.... That girl cried
We got our son an oculus...he cried
And so grateful, and thankful
It isn't hard to teach children how to be thankful
I don't put that here to say were great at parenting....but its basic to teach being happy with what they receive...even if it's socks
James loving on that dog is the sweetest part of the whole video….
Spends thousands of dollars on the kids but lives in a dump of a house.
Me too. We all watched each other open gifts. This is weird.
Exact same for me as the baby of 4
Same as the oldest of 4❤
We have 5 kids under 7, they opened one present at a time this year.
Same! That home is nasty
@@sandra-Abraham absolutely!
Literally could redo their bedrooms for Christmas and take a vacation while it’s being done with the money they have.
Yes
This!! She could probably add an addition to that house for the amount she spent on Christmas!
I haven’t heard one thank you. My 21 year old son is so grateful and appreciative
Same here! Did that when I was a kid growing up, and have chosen to continue that with my own kids! I personally love taking the time and enjoying it!
That’s how it is in my family and we all enjoy each other and our Christmas
Maybe the kids don’t say thank you because they know it will fall on deaf ears
Great point. Total detachment.
I feel gross talking about what people have their home, car, clothes or furniture. But when you throw so much money away why in earth does the kids room furniture look so beaten up and like someone’s hand me downs. The whole house looks like no care is put into it.
So true
I agree. She has all this money to blow but doesn’t blow it on the right things! Who takes their kids to Vegas for a vacation?!? That’s the last place a kid wants to go. Go to some national parks. Hell, even an amusement park would be better for the kids.
money can't buy class
House looks like a big family actually are living there.
“I warmed up the chicken wraps”
“You’re a chicken wrap”
I laughed so hard I don’t know why 😂
The fridges are ridiculous. Also, why doesn't she do a Secret Santa and let the kids buy a gift for one of their brothers or sisters?
I have 5 kids and we do this every year. They look forward to their secret Santa shopping day and wrapping/giving their sibling gift.
Even one fridge per room is crazy! Those kids sleep 3 to a room! The teens may have their own room but it's insanity. @@annieonpaper
Agreed

Can we all take a moment to notice that the first shot of them opening presents was filmed with Alicia literally standing on the back of the couch over Bre? 🤣 “Alright kids open your presents and pretend I’m not standing here on the couch like a weirdo!”
i'm not surprised! sad sad sad.
Yea I was about to comment that , that is soo weird 😂
James loving on the doggie is so sweet 😊❤
We can all look forward to a video in a few months of her cleaning out all the mini fridges full of mold because the kids will forget about them.
It’s a great way to tell who is the favourite by who gets the most and who gets the least
We love to open one by one and watch the joy in our kids’ eyes for each gift… she misses this when they open them this way
My husband takes my boys to go get me a gift and I do the same for him.
James is such a wonderful young man. So beautiful to watch him with the dog.
Ok I def don’t have a dozen kids but I do have 4 aged 6-11 and this is NOT how we do Christmas! Every child takes turns opening one at a time so we can see it, appreciate it, and get a thank you! This is madness

One thing I’ve always noticed about James, he’s such a kind and gentle soul. The animals are always around him. That’s telling who takes care of the dogs.

I agree when actually, they are ignored and neglected 😢
You’re making me 😂😂😂the way you’re talking .. mocking her voice . Made my day . With your squeaky voice
I’d love to go through all her videos and count how many times her and or Josh hug their kids - do a hug count. I don’t remember seeing them give their kids hugs in any of their videos which is crazy because there are so many.
Yes no hugs no kisses no warmth no love no kindness nothing Alicia has nothing to offer those kids so why she choose to have them because of money its so evil and selfish when you think about it
And then do a count of how many times she baby talks to her chickens.
Harlee asked for help opening her gift and no one did😢
No attention either.
For real though, there's no excitement. My kid walked in on Christmas and his first words were "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!". The gift in question was a 50 marker set and new sketchpad. He was so incredibly excited.
Crazy how some kids got an excessive amount of gifts and some got barely anything compared to that.
Acts 10:15, And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
@void9837 he's coming soon ❤
5:53 she’s shoving their tranquilizers in it 😮😂😂😂😂😂
You are spot on. Those kids were not excited about Christmas and that's sad. There was no magic in their eyes. She needs to lay the million presents under the tree next time and pass them out. At least they can visually see a ton of presents under their tree and maybe it will bring a little freaking magic back.
Mini fridges for the bedrooms, perfect for diabetes supplies. I’m glad Patrick lucked out this year, he normally gets junk he doesn’t even want.
Why doesnt she try to have the kids acknowledge each other by giving small things to each other. Those kids have NO relationship with each other.
Right before the comment about the chocolate bar, Z opens a present and then doesn't open the box to see what it is. She is sooo over this.
Little Harlee in the corner jumping up and down at the outfit for someone to acknowledge her breaks my heart x
The way they open presents scares me and STRESSES me out!!! How do they not lose stuff? There’s trash EVERYWHERE!

It seems like James got the least amount this year . And he’s such a great kid
I feel sorry for those kids cause when there older and still feel entitled to be just given what they want it's gonna make adult life tough! Hope your holidays were good josh!

@@ple-o6e she will probably disown them, unless of course as josh said their is a way they can make money still (like a sports star) some of these kids are going to be left with nothing feeling like don't belong, needing more therapy than they did when they first went to live with her
I’ll never understand how people think it’s so amazing she’s spending so much money and last year she promised a charity each month
So sorry for you loss ❤ How lovely to still continue on the tradition and include him ❤
I would understand Lush getting a Coke pack of there was meaning behind it. But there’s not. Her almost adult son didn’t put any thought into them
The older kids should be helping to clean up help with lunch and dinner
She needs to be careful with those mini fridges. People have been saying they almost catch on fire. Plus imagine how overloaded the circuits are in that house😬

Agreed 😂
Most of them a children commenting this...they have no idea about child psychology they just see the money spent
Yep
I’m glad to see comments like these and I agree 100% with you both❤🙏🏻☺️
Rewatching this makes me tear up. Imagining these children just wanting a single afternoon with their mothers love and attention and not getting it. It breaks my effing heart. 🥺 These children deserve so much better.
I just noticed that H is displaying her gifts like Alicia. She's replicating what is modeled everyday from her surroundings.
The mini fridges r just another excuse for her shopping hauls! We’ll hear so&so loves having these in their fridge!!💯
