Everytime Kurt Angle and The Rock locked up in the ring, it was always epic, their chemistry was smooth and exciting to watch. They never had a bad match, I could watch those two go at it everyday and I really wished they had an extended program together. True legends
They had such great chemistry together. I'll never forget No Way Out 2001 when Rock beat Angle but Angle kicked out of 2 rock bottoms. Angle was a machine back then.
Apparently, the last kick out was a mistake by Earl Hebner. He was supposed to count the finish, but thought that the finish was different. He ended up in advertently, making the match that much better.
Kurt Angle was as dedicated and tough as it gets. He was DAMN Real. Incredible speed, terrifying explosiveness, a true fighter's instincts and mindset - he threw feints and countered, beat bigger stronger opponents with his mind and heart. Wore them out and turned them into a pretzel. He had what the guys with size didn't - and he beat them. His quads and neck were enormous - when he squatted down into the ready stance - forget it, just give up, theres nothing you can do lol. He inspired me with his exhaust training - the workout begins once you reach failure.
I was at Survivor Series 99 ( Kurt's WWE in ring debut & Vengeance where there was the Triple Threat match between Kurt Angle Undertaker and the Rock. I must say Kurt Angle is another level performer. I'm glad I witnessed greatness when I was heavy into wrestling at the time.
The Rock. Stone Cold. Undertaker. Chis Jericho. Kurt Angle all respected each. With little to no drama. That's why WWE beat WCW. They had hard workers who put their craft before their egos
Wonder if Kurt was ever asked about the time In 2000 where HHH thought he was too small to be champion, and Gerald Brisco said “ok how about you two get into shoot fight and see if his size matters” or something to that effect….that shut HHH up real quick
Kurt was too small but HHH's fellow Kliq member and multiple time champ Shawn Michaels wasn't? It's a good thing HHH's backstage influence wasn't so outsized yet at that point.
If it comes to the level of coming from a true amateur wrestling background and making himself established as an entertainer for almost 2 decades, Kurt Angle has done it so very well. I could very well rank him the second best, after Bret Hart, based on his intensity in the matches. Plus he had fought nearly all his peers. I really feel that nobody rooted for Kurt since he played the role of a heel so well. The same goes for Booker-T who was an exceptionally tremendous athlete but was underused given his ability. I used to root for HBK earlier and used to think of Kurt Angle as true villain of WWE but turns out that guys like Bret, Angle, Guerrero, Benoit and Jericho were the hardest workers in the industry. Kurt was there all the time during the entire attitude era and the ruthless aggression era.
The Rock may have sold out and gone woke but hes right on this one. I HATED YOU when i was in my teens Kurt now you're on of my favorites and its not even close . What a Character!
@@paladinPraveen there's just nothing entertaining about him and he's doing a show with Kurt, who has obviously taken a beating on his head because he can't articulate anything
@@paladinPraveen yeah he has grown on me. also, it's nice to have someone else besides Conrad doing these podcasts. Nothing against Conrad but cmon it's nice to have a change every once in a while

Punk is my favourite wrestler but I gotta say, overall,to me Kurt is the GOAT, did it all to the highest standard
Paul Bromwell is the worst
Any particular reason? I really like the way he hosts it.
