I always did get the impression that Tangle Kelp eats the zombies, considering they emerge from the pool at the final wave of every pool level, indicating that they cannot drown. But the ones that Tangle Kelp pulls under don't re-emerge.

@Kohl Hurlburt Obviously those are NOT parts of Tangle Kelp. Tangle Kelp would be a pretty useless character if he only delayed the advance of a single zombie rather than killing it. Also, Tangle Kelp can drag down Dolphin Riders and Scubas, and those don't re-emerge.
Moral of the story: never disregard Crazy Dave's advice.

Pretty cliche but using an already creepy and mysterious plant like tangle kelp is a nice change of pace from cutesy character turning red or grey

I've always seen tangle kelp as the most mysterious, horrific plants in the series. After all, they don't get any cute-looking or rather cool-looking sprites in any of the games like all of the other plants do. I knew a creepypasta like this would happen, but I'm still at a lost for words. This is some next-level stuff, dude. You've come a long way. Great job, man!

I actually knew someone would die in real life because the pool part and that plant killed those zombies in the pool level.

Nifty. I never truly new about PVZ creepypastas outside of the big boss, deadplants. So this was a cool thing to help me get into the world of them.
An upgrade for the tangle kelp would be cool, also called carnivorous kelp, which maybe can be planted on land without the tangle kelp, and in water with the tangle kelp, maybe on land it slows down zombies by inflicting damage, and in water it immerses a maximum of 10, however, I would like it if it couldn't be eaten

Imagine how horrifying it would look from a zombies perspective to be grabbed and dragged down by tangle kelp…Imagine there’s a gaping maw like a venus fly trap in the center of the area of the plant hidden by the kelp leaves. Most likely the zombie is slowly digested after being caught.

Alright here is the report: Names: Zoe Kingston and Danny Robinson. Cause of death: They were both found half eaten next to Zoe's pool. According to witnesses one of the boys (John) at Zoe's party still stood at the pool after Danny was attacked. They claimed that a monster came out and told John "Thank you, for feeding me." John was then arrested and put into custody under suspision. He claimed that he saw a plant in a game called "Plants vs Zombies" that looked like the monster that talked to him. He was proven innocent when his friend Jeff said the same thing we will be preparing Zoe and Danny's funerals. Report classified as Murder. (Sorry for my bad grammar)
