I’ve sampled about 90% of the house and this one is my favorite. Sandalwood is in my top 5 favorite notes. So rounded, creamy and fluffy, I feel put together and classy when I wear it. I do like other perfumes from them, Oud Jaune, NY Intense, Parisian and Oud Vert. 🖤
I just bought Santal Complet. I love the fragrance, but it’s so weak on me. Admittedly, I prefer intense, stronger fragrances. I’ve read that FDB is coming out with an intense version of Santal Complet. 😊
Currently Sampling this scent...it’s nice but it’s not NICE...So I’ll wait until I’ve worn in some more before I can formulate an opinion myself. But the coconut sandal wood mainstay and goes a bit gourmand like coconut butter cookies. So you are quite spot on with the buttery comparison. Will have to give it a few more day and night wear to have a measure of the performance. But great review as per usual.
My first fragrance Du Bois fragrance was Oud Rose intense it was a blind buy after I saw a review, I was blown away I love it and I would love to try other fragrances from this house♥️♥️♥️

I am a big fan of Fragrance Du Bois. I own 4 bottles at the time and a dew samples; I just can't get enough. Santal complete is one of my favorites just as well. When I got the sample, I realized that it's never going to be enough, so I instantly bought a bottle. Amazing creation and amazing house!
I have Oud Orange Intense. It’s so addicting in such an inexplicable way. It’s not very much, yet so much at the same time. I’m really hypnotized by this scent.

"very, very expensive butter" 😂😂 - honestly, I just sampled this, and I'm starting to love it, really. The fact that they were able to mix coconut with peppers and musks with the sandalwood is amazing. I can't see this being enjoyable in summer, even though there's a lightness to it. My favourite so far from FDB remains: Oud Noir Intense. But Oud Jaune and Petales de Cashemere are also great. Those I own and love. I'm dying to try Parisian, if ever possible without spending the fortune of a full 100ml.
I am a big fan of Fragrance Du Bois. Love their style of fragrances. A bit disappointed about their formulation now. I think their formulation compare years ago is different now. Just compare the color, smell, longevity from Eau de Parfum before versus Parfum which is their latest formulation. The parfum version is weaker in my opinion. What your thought on this matter Sebastian?

I've tried a couple because of Demi Rawling ...she got us a discount with the house, wanted to try this one too per her recommendations. Got Oud Jaune intense and oud orange intense which are her favorites too. . Bought the small size because they are very pricey.

Excellent review. This perfume sounds to be elegant. It would be perfect for special occasions. When you want to smell an elegant and subtle scent without overpowering, this is what you should be wearing that day. I would definitely like to try this fragrance
I really love this Perfume House. I have 9 of their offerings so far and I hope to get more in the near future. Their Attars are to die for potent but so beautiful. I also have a full bottle of their 100% Oud and WOW it’s so strong but very complex, 1 Spray is more than enough of this beast.

I have Santal Complet, Brume du Matin, Oud Rose Intense and Oud Jaune Intense. All of them are beautiful. You said it right with the exception of Brume du Matin they have very smooth buttery blend. I’d be interested in your review of Milano and New York. :)
Nice review! I like this house a lot! I saved to buy Oud Jaune Intense and i have samples of some of their other perfumes. I like Santal Complet but in my skin it doesn't last. I also like Siberian Rose, Parisian , Milano and New York 5th Avenue.

The most recent is Bois Dore Cleef & arples. It’s absolutely amazing... the way the Tonka and the vanilla is blended it’s really well done... it just became one of my top 5 fragrances.
Glad I watched your review. I sampled this awhile back. While I thought it smelled fantastic (coconut & sandalwood are both loves for me), I felt much the same, in that it was on the road to being tropical, but didn’t quite make it all the way there. I didn’t even think to try it with the intention of a cozy fall fragrance. I’ll have to revisit it now! My favorite from the line (unfortunately, due to the HIGH price tag) was Oud Bleu Intense. One of very few warm weather friendly spicy fragrances I’ve found! I’d like a chance at the giveaway - I’m from Ohio.
I have and love three of their fragrances: Petales de Cashemere, Siberian Rose (beautyful one!) and Oud Rose Intense. I assume, you would like all of them.
I tried quite a few samples of Fragrance du Bois including Santal Complet from Luckyscents. I adore the scent of Santal Complet but bad performance. I wonder if it was because of the samples were in 1ml dabbing vials that affect the amount of applications and the performance. I would want to try some spraying samples of it again from other sources.
I haven't tried any of Frgrance du Bois fragrances but this house does sound interesting. I am always on a search for something new with santal so it would be lovely to try this one. Thanks for awesome video and giveaway
Never had the pleasure of trying it out. Sure sounds like something i would like. Woody notes are sometimes difficult with for me but sandalwood is one of the few that is always safe with me. You saying it is mellow gives hope that the amber isn't too much for me.

I own from Fragrance Du Bois Santal Complet, Milano, Cannabis Blue and Oud Bleu Intense, all full size 100 ml bottles and I have from nearly all the other fragrances a sample. The packaging and bottles are really gorgeous, the most scents are really good but some of their fragrances has not the greatest longevity.
First time hearing of this house! I'm really into sandalwood at the moment, I've just ordered Lutens' Santal Majuscule, and I have Sana Jardin's Sandalwood Temple on my list (delicious if you haven't yet smelled that yet!). Would love to know how it compares to these two!
