Bulibuli is in Bangla in Eng it is called Nightingale. This song is composed by our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, as the rebel poet in the world. His famous poem Bidrohi had shook the british rule during the colonialism! @@samratix2497 This song was written in 1926 & recorded & published in 1928. Bulbul died in 1930.this song was written befor 4 years of Bulbul's death. Kazi Nazrul Islam was going somewhere to collect money for Bulbul's treatment & He wrote this gajal on a newspaper with pencil without no reason. It is completely a romantic song.

#Bulbuli is a Bengali Ghazal, written by the legendary Kazi Nazrul Islam, the National Poet of Bangladesh. The passionate poem is an expression of both the pain of separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. The renowned poet sets up a trope in garden where he writes about the relationship between a Bulbul, a songbird, and its beloved who is embodied as a flower. To counter the verses that speak to the Bulbul, Syed Gousul Alam Shaon wrote the lyrics of Dol Dol Dol Diyeche that speaks to the flower. The song sparks the Real Magic of love and romance.
Poet's one of sons name was BulBul Kazi, who was died at the very young age, probably 10/11 years old. He wrote two or three songs recalling his dear son. This is one and another that I know, title "Ghumiye achey amar ganer bulbuli"...
It is classic, because this song's lyrics are totally from a legendary poem written by National poet of Bangladesh 'Kazi Nazrul Islam' before 1970.

Very good reaction and thanks for sharing. This song is about eternal wait for the spring to arrive for Bulbul (poet's son bulbul passed away when he was just 5 years old) and flower to blossom. Spring arrived, but bulbul never came back, as he was sleeping for the rest of his life. When Bulbul passed away poet wrote few poems and songs for Bulbul. Bulbul also represents a type of bird.
This gazal/gospel was written by *Kazi Nazrul Islam* who is the national poet of Bangladesh. He stayed quite a few months in a landlord’s house at Becharam Dewri Road in Old Dhaka. Inside the big arena of that house there was a beautiful flower garden. Nazrul observed beautiful black birds called “Bulbuli” always play around in the garden. So one day he wrote this amazing melodious ghazal/gospel.

Nazrul geeti is not easy to sing. I had to practice really hard to sing Nazrul's songs . Rituraj sang soooo beautifully and it sounds so clean. He nailed it.

The song "Bagichay Bulbuli tui" was written when our beloved Kazi Nazrul Islam's second son Orindom Khaled(Bulbul) was sick and later he died at the age of 4/5! Nazrul hadn't much much money for the treatment. Just imagine guys, A father, A National Poet had to write the song for money to save his child but he couldn't save him !!!!

Kazi Nazrul Islam (the national poet of Bangladesh) who first shows how to use western melody in classical traditional on earlier 70s. Man you wont believe he is living legend. People still can remix his songs without changing any bit of a note.

bulbul is the name of 5 years son of Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. after passing away of his son, poet has expressed his pain through this writtings ultimately the Gazal. Though this songs listen good as melodious but the meaning of this song is painful.
