Eagerly awaiting a shipping notification for my LWB v3 - I am so so so excited for this bike. Replacing my Surly Ogre which has been a terrific do-it-all bike, but I got tired of the horizontal rear dropouts (don’t play nice with fenders) and massive toe overlap. I’m lucky enough to have a friend with an older Plus LWB bike in my size, when I first sat on it I thought it had 27.5 tires due to having absolutely ZERO toe overlap compared to my Ogre. Shipping notification can’t come soon enough 🥰
I feel like we have the same story. I bought a LWB V2 to replace my Surly Ogre, which I loved except for the toe overlap. I hated that. My LWB is amazing (and no toe overlap)
I just got a LWB v3 from a fellow in south Florida. After watching all of your videos I was comfortable with going with the size medium. I’ve only ridden it a 100miles. So it’s early to have an opinion. I will say that it’s an amazing bike and I can’t wait to get more miles in the saddle. I’m planning on riding the northern tier this summer and was planning on using my LHT. Now that I have a Jones I can’t help but wonder if I should put racks on it and ride it across the country?? Nick
Probably not. If we do, we will send out an email and post on social media about it. We're located in Southern Oregon and anybody is welcome to test out a bike. Just call us at 541-535-2034 to make an appointment.
Love the jones h loop bars, but I commute on main roads with plenty of traffic, my question is, I cannot for the life of my find any mirrors suitable for these bars which allow me to see behind me properly, the seating position and the swept back bars are very hard to find mirrors for, any advice or help would be much appreciated, or with your knowledge and engineering skills maybe design some mirrors, I’m certain they would go down very well with the jones cycling community, thanks in advance.
I ride with a Take A Look Mirror, and I prefer it over all the handlebar-mounted mirrors I've tried because I can see the entire road behind me with just a quick glance, without needing to look down for a shaky mirror. It's like a heads-up display; I can almost keep one eye on the road ahead while glancing back with the other. It's weird at first, but once you learn to use it, you'll wonder how you ever rode without it. jonesbikes.com/take-a-look-mirror/
This is a Thomson. All droppers I have ever used have developed slop, and it doesn't affect reliability or performance. If it really bothers you they can be sent in a be rebuilt but they will develop the slop again.
Good TAIWAN made bikes, but NOT suitable or practical for everyone. Some may find these bikes too heavy and large to lift, transport, and service. Choose wisely. Try a test ride if possible. Consider a second set of wheels/tyers to do serious MTB riding. Tyers/tubes are $ and not easy to change. Buy another rear derailure hanger as I broke 2? Rack selection for cargo is limited and expensive.

Had a real hard look at the SWB recently. I just want to say the webpage details on these framesets is exceptional.

Are you going to be at the Sea Otter Classic in April? I’d love to check out one of your bikes in person.
Probably not. If we do, we will send out an email and post on social media about it.

Wooowwaoooo❤❤❤❤❤
They look nice and ride better i’m guessing but i love my Surly Ogre too much currently 🥰🙂
What dropper, Jeff? My Thomson, surprisingly, has some lateral slop which doesn't inspire confidence.

Jeff I think you sell your bikes just by virtue of riding them.
I notice bikers have this hump/hunch bend shoulders, gotto to fix the ergo problem, once and for all!
Promo-SM 🤤
we donot ridelike that , just a to b lines!! no tricks!!
