I am very influenced by the stationary I buy but its all over the place. I always admire people that have a persistant style and colorpalette, because I could never do it. It really depends on the mood I am in. While I love generally more cozy and pastell themes there are also days where I want really bold colored washi and glittery vinylstickers and write with a bigger blackinked tip. I learned to accept, love and embrace my chaotic mess.
That's so great that you accept all your tastes and preferences! I think social media has tricked us a bit into thinking everything needs to be aesthetic and cohesive all the time.
Oh my gosh, the little cluster you have as your books header is so unbelievably cute! ❤ And I was (quite vigorously) urging you to use the cat in the chair and put her in the bottom corner, so I was glad to see that you "heard" me. 😂 Such a gorgeous book!
ayyy I love it Maike.. I always feel like yer journals and everything you share with us reflects yer beautiful and creative personality. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season and a new year full of dreams coming true!
Aw, that's so sweet of you Suzi! hank you for brightening my day with your lovely comment! I hope you had a lovely holiday and I wish you all the best for 2025!
what a calming video! i love the fabric you used to cover your journal and the animation at the start was very sweet. the sticker wreath turned out beautifully and i also loved the printed tracing paper 🤩 that was a great idea!
Thanks so much Riley ☺️ Happy to hear you enjoyed the video! I LOVE printing on tracing paper, it just has the most satisfying crinkle and it reminds me of those parchment papers in photo albums-very nostalgic.
What a lovely process video!! I wanted to share that you can use a hair dryer on a low heat to warm up the stickers and they reposition easier, if you ever need to move them around. Thank you for sharing your process!!
hello from spain! i just discovered your channel through this video and i have to say that i love your art!!!!! the kittens are so cute!!! i'm considering joining the cat collage club! and also, i really like how you have decorated all the pages, your stickers are really cute
I always use double sided tape for glassine! It sticks to the wax a lot better and is less noticeable. I like your character and a flower behind MO, because I have a thing for “a staggered two” 🤣. My mom and I always end up laughing and arguing because she’s normal and likes the balanced design group of three. So now when we spot a staggered two it’s like the slug bug game lol! I typically find it to be TOO placed to have three, but I do use it when it feels right! Anyways, as usual, your style is warm, happy, and inspiring! 💓
I never thought of it that way, but I totally know what you mean with it feeling too placed to have three. Now I must be honest and let you know that sometimes i do add a strip of washi to this "recipe". So it's washi, flower, character 😁 Thank you so much for your kind words 😊
Thank you, glad you like the cover ☺️ And I'm sorry for feeding your indecision. Depending how you feel about sewing, you could make a removable fabric cover as an alternative.
I do pick a word of the year and I usually take the class One Little Word from Ali Edwards to help me keep accountable of my word. It also creates an album or journal filled with prompts around the word.
Oh that sounds helpful! I think for next year I am gonna see if I can check in with my word at least once a month, maybe at the end of a month to see how i'm doing and what I could pay attention to the following month.
So pretty! I love the fabric cover. Do you have a cutting machine? I’m always impressed by your sticker albums. I can’t even seem to get things printed out. 😅 I’m taking notes from you because I would love to be more ready. Also love the cat “post-it!”
Thanks so much Erin! Really appreciate your kind words. I cut my stickers out by hand. I tend to do them in a big batch when I start to feel like things are looking empty in my sticker book. And then I cut them while watching TV. The funny thing is that I do own a cricut, but I'm someone who is always a bit weary of doing something with a machine that can break or misbehave, if I can just do it by hand (though that is probably not the smartest decision time-wise).
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am hoping to find a sustainable way to sell physical stickers, but I cant promise anything at this point, unfortunately.
Hi! I just discovered this YT channel!! May I ask what sticker paper you are using for the stickers that you have printed?? It looks like washi paper?? Thanks!!

that sticker collage you did framing the page was gorgeous! i always love the color palettes you choose for your setups.
Thank you ☺️ That's so sweet of you. I am always amazed how different a blank notebook can feel once you add some color to it.
Love the new intro graphic!

Glad you enjoyed the video :) And thank you for the hair dryer tip! That's good to know for emergencies :)
I love the fabric cover! What sticker book are you using? It must be so useful to have some pre-cut PET tape stickers for daily journaling!
Thank you ☺️ I found the sticker books on amazon. I've added the links to the description box.

@ Yes!! Sometimes there is a third element, but not of the same kind! You get me 🤣
The fabric covered cover looks great! Wow… now I’m thinking I might use fabric too. I’m so indecisive 🤦♀️
Thank you, glad you like the cover ☺️ And I'm sorry for feeding your indecision. Depending how you feel about sewing, you could make a removable fabric cover as an alternative.
so cute
Thank you 😊

In love with how you decorated your Hobonichi!! Also will you consider selling your prints as stickers in the future?
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am hoping to find a sustainable way to sell physical stickers, but I cant promise anything at this point, unfortunately.
Please tell me you have a tutorial on how to do the fabric cover! Im not a fan of the yellow and actually have favric I need to use!!
I am working on a tutorial ☺️ I hope to have it up very soon (before the end of the year for sure).
These stickers in the book are amazing, where can we find them please?
All the lovely flowers, butterflies and such are from Erin Ware. I'm part of her Patreon, which is linked in the description ☺️ Hope this helps.
Hello, sweet friend! ❤

Please consider doing a video on how you covered your Cousin with fabric.
I'm happy to ☺️ I'm hoping I'll have that up soon!
