      Thank you for your performance.
I saw this play for the first time as a child. I was 13. I am 37 now and saw it last year again after so long.
Brought tears to my eyes. It's still such a magical experience.
Actors like you make that magic visceral. Real.
      Thank you so much

Makes me cry EVERY. TIME. I was practically in hysterics when I saw this in person. Watching all of the puppets come down the aisles and onto the stage was a hell of an experience. Definitely going to go see it again when I get the chance.

I saw this performance while visiting London and had the same exact reaction. I started bawling when the elephant came walking down the middle of the aisle. Watching this on RUclips is one thing, but it's one of those performances you have to see live just to feel the raw emotion and power that comes from these performers.

I cry so hard just watching the videos (over and over and over -- hundreds of times) that i honestly worry that if I saw it in person, I would be so hysterical I'd have to leave the theatre...or else I'd get punched by the audience members on either side of me. I might have to take an Ativan before hand to stay civilized -- I dunno!!

I saw this for my birthday in Edinburgh at the weekend. As someone who has wanted to see this for YEARS, and has waited it to return to Edinburgh for 7 years it was truly INCREDIBLE. It wasn’t just a musical. It was an EXPERIENCE. As the number started I couldn’t help but start crying. The amount of work that goes into a musical that has been touring for the last 22 years. The realisation that I was there, sitting in that audience watching the cast walk on stage. Knowing that one of my dreams had just come true. If you ever get the chance go see it, do it! It will be one of the best experiences you’ve spent you money on. It is worth every, single penny!
Edit: saw it again in Edinburgh on Thursday and (somehow) it was even better!

I've attended this 16 times in 4 different cities (the first, being New York City). I always take others to see it. I've had my students perform it for their spring production and I've attended countless of my colleagues productions of it. As much as I love the entire play, I'm good after the opening scene. It is mind boggling each time. I've seen it from floor seats, the mezzanine, but mostly the lower balcony. In my opinion that gives you the most majestic view. Yes, I'm a bit obsessed with it.

There is something about seeing this in person that is extremely overwhelming in the most beautiful way.
Tears well in my eyes every time.
Before covid, the yaks during the stampede would fill the isles and "run" with the audience. Im not sure what changed this, honestly. It was one of my favorite parts of the show. You felt like you were running right beside simba. It made the experience so real.
But every time they uplift him over pride rock, i bawl like a child.
    Still do.
If you havent seen this play yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

Circle of life: Harmony in universe, all of us are interconnected, hence we can contribute to each other selflessly. To do so, see universe within us and we in the universe. Bible says, from dust we came and dust we go.
Vedas says, Jivo jivasya jivanam- life depends on life meaning one needs another one for survival materialistically or emotionally. If implemented in life will help to create "Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam" whole universe is my family.
Hence Hakuna matata in responsible way--

Just have to say, of all the Lion King onstage recordings I've watched on RUclips, this one shows panoramic view of the start of the show with more clarity and beauty than any other! I haven't seen another video that captures so clearly the entire lighting progression from the dark stage to the dark blue sky to the dawn, the sunrise, the shimmer of heat, the MIST rising off the ground(!!!!!) all the way through each animal's entrance. Thank you, videographer, for doing that -- it's just fantastic!!!! There's little details I caught in this recording that I hadn't noticed before, like the fact that the baby elephant (my favorite!!!) had a little bird on his head, or that the two gazelles stand like bookends on either far side of the stage, making sure the herds are gathering in an organized fashion (like bouncers, hee hee), or how sweet Mufasa and his wife are to each other as they stand on Pride Rock, nuzzling every now and then, and holding hands. Augh, I'm weepy again. ;)

Back then they sold DVD's downstairs and I HAD to buy it. It was $24 and kind of out of our budget. But it was one of the best thing I ever bought.

I remember seeing this in person for the first time and practically vibrating out of my seat with excitement as soon as I heard the first note. Seeing the huge elephant coming down the aisle was a mind-blowing experience, and the whole thing was truly magical. The acting, the set, the music, THE COSTUMES, it's all so incredible. Everyone should go see this in person at least once in their lives. I can't even find the words to describe how amazing it is.
