Get ready to hold on tight as I take the iconic Lamborghini LM002, the legendary "Rambo Lambo," for a wild ride on the narrow and twisty roads of Italy. With its powerful V12 engine, massive tyres, and unmistakable looks, this beastly SUV is not your typical Italian supercar. Watch as we navigate unpaved tracks, squeeze through roads, and turn heads of puzzled cyclists who have never seen such an exotic brute tearing up their picturesque routes. Will the LM002 conquer the Italian roads or will it leave me with sweaty palms and white knuckles? Buckle up for a hilarious adventure that proves that sometimes, driving luxury can be downright ludicrous!

Anyone else at 9:30 worrying about the clutch 😅. Great video as always
No need to worry. There is no clutch any more....
I could smell it 😀
I could smell that thing from my house...
someone has to pay for that....
Came here to say the same thing
Videography is on point in this video. I've been watching for 7 or 8 years now and what is astonishing is you've managed to say the same, yet improve so much. It really is a talent not to loose yourself, what brings people back every week, yet at the same time evolve with the scene, technology and RUclips itself. Thank you for producing absolutely reliable quality car content that no one else seems to be able to quite produce, you really do have a niche in the car content world. Its a talent that not many have as well, knowing when to hold your tongue and just let the car speak for itself, or narrow in on a topic thats exciting to you personally and share that passion, instead of perhaps capturing the whole thing going on for the sake of it. Superb as always! Hope there will be, oh I don't know... plenty more videos to come 😉
Very well said. The consistency is amazing. .
Couldn’t agree more.
Good post my friend, I certainly agree.
7-8 years and the only man I still watch religiously.
Well said. Sam really does have talent for creating quality videos like this.
The problem with the Cheeta and the first LM, is that because of the rear V8, it had the inclination of tipping backwards on a steep slope. Therefore the military said it was crap.
You would think Lamborghini's engineers understood gravity and angular mechanics.
That makes sense. Especially with the high center of gravity or lack thereof
Forget the trucks, that Miura piece at the end had me nearly in tears. It’s my absolute money no object dream car. I would love to just sit in one, let alone get to drive one. It’s just everything amazing about the 60’s in a car. Well done Sam!
had the pleasure of meeting an LM002 in Botswana about 20 years ago, was ridiculously excited to see it and the owner was very happy to show it off :)
A white one, by any chance?
The finishing bit, driving the Muria, was extraordinary. Awesome seeing how far you've come. I can only imagine what that felt like.

Enjoy your Sunday everybody! And cheers to you, Sam. Keep up the great work!
What a dream the Miura SV and I love the LM002 and Urus too I simply love Lambos😍
Waiting for the "bit tacked on at the end" as you described in BTG 😂
That Miura... OMG perfection 🥵
The Miura should've had a video on it's own in my opinion - what a beautiful thing that is.
That’s where Sam really doesn’t play the RUclips game. It could easily have been extended a bit and put out like an 8-10 minute video on the Miura. Could have gone viral
THE original SUV, and quite possibly the craziest prodution car ever built ! Gloriously nuts
Driving a Miura SV through the Italian countryside has to be one of the ultimate pinch yourself moments.
Keeping a Fire Suppression stick close at hand says it all about the LM002 😂
Holy shit Sam. I had to delete my previous comments when I realised you got to drive a mint Miura SV. That is a bucket list of bucket lists. There are so few of those in existence, and it looked and sounded as glorious as they come. Of course they weren't going to let you rip it, but man. That is SUCH a privilege. You are one lucky man.
Your take on the LM002 vs. Urus and general impressions during your drive were very interesting. Great comparison, something very unique in the automotive RUclips world. Thanks!
Holy coincidence, Batman. I saw an Urus in that LM002’s blue colour, yesterday. And this was in Ottawa, where such sightings are rare.
The "bubble" on the bonnet is to clear the induction box, not the engine block.
See the Countach Quattrovalvole Carburettor version for reference, USA injected versions of Countach had a lower profile.
The real story for the LM002 was a cancelled at the last minute order for military vehicles with one of the big oil countries in the east , who had already paid 25% down for the order of 300 vehicles , the first ones got the Countach motor , the last ones , very rare got the Diablo motor . As production had started and some cars were already completed , Lomborghini had to civilianise them and sell them off , the story was covered by LJK Setright of UK Car Magazine in 1982 . I have driven a Diablo motored one , what a beast and so much fun .
Jimmy Sommerville and the Lambo, two absolute myths of 80's
Really disappointed you reviewed that Urus instead of getting more time in the the rare Lamborghini. The Miura is amazing. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
Sam one of ur best one yet in this series. From classic suv to moderday super suv to the classic sv with old school v12 from 1970s
An epic episode...just brilliant. It's why I never miss one!!
Crazy to think that this was the only 12-cylinder "SUV" until the Purosangue came along. Apart from the Audi Q7 v12 tdi, the Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes G65 AMG and the VW Touareg W12. And the BMW x5 LM concept from 2001
I always liked the LM002 in St prex Switzerland there was a Tamoil petrol station and the owner had a gold modified diablo and I remember once a white LM002 was parked outside..much better looking than a hummer.
We have a funny saying in germany:
Ist der Motor kalt, gib ihm secheinhalb"
Which means "If the engine is cold, give it six and a half!
Probably your best work with this video !
YES...Something Great to watch on a Sunday again......Cheers Sam..!Ha!
Very intriguing compilation of very different driving experiences. Love it!
Remember seeing this thing do a lap on the top gear track. It didn't move, the world just spun beneath it
Great visuals and music choices Sam.
In the Muria, I could hear ‘Days Like These’ in my head
Ok Sam. I don’t want to disillusion your viewers but let me tell you about the little cross country event where we drove two LM002’s 11,000 miles in ten days in the 1989 One Lap of America. Chrysler wanted to prove that the LM was durable enough to make the trip so they gave us the first two LM’s in the country the day after they passed the EPA tests. I drove with Joe Nastasi and Sandro Munari and while Chrysler proved they were capable the drive was far from pleasant. Basically we were riding in a massive truck with very little interior space, the front seats were so tight you couldn’t cross your legs or shift your weight around. And the back seats were useless to try and relax in. At the first stop we managed to take some of our luggage and bring the seats up to the level of the center console and make a bed in the back, and while it helped you still couldn’t straighten your legs out and not hit the other door. Yes it was a blast to drive across the entire state of North Dakota at 110 mph, but by the time there were three days left in the event I was having micro naps while driving and having hallucinations when I wasn’t. So basically it was a mobile torture chamber and it took me 20 years of therapy before I tried another One Lap. Definitely not a luxury SUV.
Wish you would do a series on 60’s classics
A rare chance to drive some Lamborghini museum cars. Around £28k for a set of 345/60 R17 LM002 Pirelli tyres - no thanks!
I have loved this vehicle since it first showed up in the magazines. The story I always heard was Lamborghini knew that the money is in oil rich countries. They saw that the rich had their entourage in Toyota Land Cruisers and Range Rovers but they would struggle across terrain in a Mercedes because the rich people wanted a luxury vehicle.
None of the other journalists want a go of the Miura, you want a go? Hell yes!
Where else are you going to get an offer like that?
Well done Sam thanks for presenting that video in Italy is celebrating the Lamborghini‘s 60th birthday. I watched I heard the beautiful countryside. Mostly you get to experience these heritage Lamborghinis. Well done ciao
Fantastic moments in the Miura Sam! Really agree with you how these cars make you feel, in the end is all about emotions, the other stuff fades away quickly. Would be cool if you could do more of those classics on the channel! 😊
Complimenti Sam, sei un vero mito.Grazie per questo video davvero emozionante.
Loved this - great video Sam
The gear stick even comes in a small Gucci bag.
That microphone rattle sounded like a Geiger counter from Chernobyl😂
This Lamborghini is featured in the classic DOS game "4DS Stunts". 👍
That SV, it the hills... Peak youTuber...
Sam compliments on your music choice a little bit of funk and rock…sweet. Also great choice driving the LM no other RUclipsr would’ve done that
The market for LMoo2's was mainly in the middle east. Quite a few came out of the factory with equipment to store and care for falcon's. Falcon hunting is a big sport in the Middle East and the size was not a problem in the dessert neither was the low single figure fuel economy.
I’ve always liked the LM002 brutal and stylish. And now I have a new automotive term “Bonnet Bubbles”! 😆
And congrats on driving the Miura! Epic moment for you. Thanks for sharing!
That Miura is awesome
On days like these...
It's one of the coolest cars or SUVs ever especially
What Wonderfull drives! Thanks!!!
Broooo that countryside is breathtaking
im glad i listen to the podcast or i might have missed that Muira drive!
Well, you need to do some more videos with Peter now, lol. That dude is hilarious, I did go to his Intsa and plugged your RUclips channel. Another amazingly edited video from you, thanks.
Pietro.
That yellow double cooking pot is not a snorkel dude, those are Donalson Element Separator as used in
.... Tractors😊
9:30 Goodbye clutch
I saw one LM002,maybe the only one in Milan, and was really big for those years😃
Driving a Miura 🤗 wow that must be very special indeed, so happy for you that you got that opportunity!!
Wow, you were one lucky guy to be able to drive the Miura (and the LM002 as well)!
The Pirelli scorpion are a must. I have both the Atr and the verde
thank you. grats to driving a Miura. Such a lovely car and this example is fantastic.
Keep doing what you’re doing. A step above the rest
Don't forget the VW Touareg with the W12 engine!
Given the choice I would go for that yellow Jalpa❤
Great camerawork too.
Mr glass sir content of late has been top class 👌🏼
"None of the journalists wanted to drive the Miura". They have no soul.
We need a raw video of the Muira footage Sam
Whoever was driving at 9:30 needs to learn how to drive a manual transmission without cooking the clutch!
The Urus looks like a Toyota Aygo compared to the LM002
Great to see how things have changed, since the LM days.
Amazing experience. Thanks for sharing it with us.
- The Colour Grade Is Crazy 🤌🏽🔥
I’ve wanted one ever since I saw it on the show Nasty boys😎
Great video Sam I'd have a Urus over all other SUV's including Ferrari's new SUV.
Great vid Sam 👍🏼
9:30 clutch RIP
Sounds like you have a Geiger counter in the Urus 😂
That LM002 is a holy grail.. just love cars that totally don’t make any sense..
Sam, opportunity missed to play Matt Monroe theme tune to the Italian Job. Driving a Muira on Italian roads, great video as usual 👍
Great video. Keep this up Sam
I was hoping you we’re going to drive that Miura. I’m sure the emotions were warranted. Couldn’t have had a better ending.
At the beginning of the video I was just looking at this Miura like... is he going to drive it? I'm sure as hell he wants to... well... :D
25 minutes of smiles. Good one, Sam
I feel like this was lamborgainis call to the hummer H1!
What an amazing day for you! that was breathtaking! 😜🤪👏👏👏👏👌
At 9:37 I thought Mr JWW had turned up😂
Sounds like my old Wartburg
Was that clutch burned leaving that driveway?
Yep. Too many revs while slipping the clutch up the incline. A bit sad but, I guess you can pretty much drive like a monkey when it’s not your car….
The outrageousness of the LM002 is what I was hoping the Urus would be like, but for me it's a bit of a disappointment styling wise. The Purosangue is the better interpretation of a manufacturer's ethos.
The Urus still has adjustable dampers though doesn’t it? Were you driving it in it’s stiffest setting?
Gets him talking as an itailan as well, talking with his hands.
Thanks Sam what a massive beastie
Great video but a shot every time a LM002 is said 😂
Always a good day when Sam uploads
What a brilliant video 😂
Wow you would think the LM02 would have been in tip top condition. The amount of smoke that poured out when Sam started it. Oh looks expensive 😂
Ironically Sam was invited and Paul Wallace wasn’t 😂
Love your content! It’s art…
