SO...SOOOO HYPED that you guys are watching this! As you continue watching this series, try to keep the concept of definitive good and evil characters out of the mix, if possible. Obviously, I'm not going to spoil anything; the writing and storytelling this show has is top tier and everything ends up getting explained at some point along the way. But the character development and exposition is where this series shines...for me, anyways. There are seemingly "good" characters who have done or will do bad things throughout the show and there are "evil' characters who, despite their methods sometimes, are justified in their actions. They're very humanized and relatable in that way which is what makes this series one of, if not the best show I've ever seen.

As for the game it’s based on, League, don’t worry about it - there’s not really story to speak of you’d be missing, and the game itself is... The company makes a lot of good stuff, so def check out other games they did, or the various musical groups they’ve developed if you have a good time with the show!

This is perfect timing because as much as I still want to rewatch this show again before season two, I just want to be able to jump into the new season immediately lmao, so thank you. 🙏🏾
It is confusing that they call it the underground, with how they first show it from an elevator. The better name is undercity, even though it is above ground it is the lower city across the river, where all the industry for the rich upper city happens, which is why the air and water is bad down there. Also that was just one explosion in episode 3 shown from 5 angles, with the explosion as reference for each viewpoint
I thought i watched u react to that. I kinda digged everyone reacting to it cuz.. i can't get enough of that show. Hope u love it, and dear god i love ur commentary so i can't wait to see ur reaction ahah (ur costumes were awesome btw, hella cute and omg the cracks on Bridget make up, stunning)
okay done. So to add to that. I would recommend checking (in reaction or ur own time) the music video of Imagine Dragons - Enemy after u're done with the show. It fills the story a little more. But spoilery if u're not done with the show. Now, ofc i wanna see u react to the rest of it. BUT, don't u wanna jump into the rabbit hole of League of Legends and / or Riot as a whole ?! Cuz u got reaaaaally good cinematic videos that are stunning, with a lot of different styles. But also really good story telling for such short "movie". On the top of my head, "The call", "Still here", "Awaken", "Warrior" are great music videos with a little story telling, but League of Legends player know who is who and wtf is happening, the rest of us are here for the pretty images and banger music. Then u got all the funny band music (it's a "if the playable characters were in a music group, or a timeline where they are, i don't remember) ones : Kda, True Damage, etc. Then there's "Annie" and "The curse of the sad mummy".. I don't wanna talk about it too much, go in blind :D I don't play lol, and know some lore cuz i watched their videos and listen to a guy explaning them. But i would almost try the game cuz of them. But if u get into video games cinematics / musics, i would recommend Valorant cinematics (Riot too) and Warframe (from Digital Extreme). They both have banger ones.
This show is fucking amazing. The art style shown in the trailer made me want to check it out and Holy Shit! It's better than any animated show or movie I've ever seen.
First-time viewer, I'm sure you've carved out an amazing and dedicated fanbase, but for the man, don't take this personally: It would be a more enjoyable viewing experience if you didn't try to narrate everything that happens. It's better to just let the viewer WATCH your reaction sometimes than to tell the viewer EVERYTHING that you're thinking or that is happening. It's fine to share opinions and talk sometimes, but narrating everything feels kind of like you're babying the audience and are talking just to talk. Obviously you didn't ask for advice on your reactions, and you would be warranted in ignoring my comment if you want to, but I do think it would make the video much more enjoyable. Besides that, the reaction is good, and I'm glad you're watching Arcane.
But understandable given what we know about Vi. For all practical purposes, Vi was put into a parental position as Powder's older sister and the only one in her life that never left her. Vi, herself, is still just a kid. She just lost her family and her sister is the one responsible, Vander incidentally, but responsible nonetheless. When emotionally overwhelmed, Vi lashes out with her fists. In this moment, Vi is dealing both with immense grief and guilt as two of the last things Vander said to her was "Protect the family" and "Take care of Powder." Before Powder meets up with Vi as she's laying over Vander's corpse, Vi may very well have come to believe that Powder was also dead. When she saw the monkey bomb head after the explosion, she would more likely be under the impression that Silco was trying to blast his way through the cannery door, Powder disobeyed Vi and followed them to the cannery and was subsequently caught in the explosion. I don't think the expression on Vi's face is that of realization but of shock and horror that Powder was there and is now dead. She feared this would happen if Powder had gone with them.
55:57 I know it's an easy thing to mistake, but there weren't multiple explosions from the monkey bomb. It was just showing it from different perspectives. I made that same mistake the first time I watched it as well.
So glad you guys are watching this.. by the way there is an Imagine Dragons companion music video for this show.. watch it when you are done...adds to the story

fav creators & fav show - what more could a gal ask for
Viktor is voiced by Viserys Targaryen of GOT
Omg soooo excited that you guys are doing arcane!!! just in time for season 2 too ahhh y'all are so lucky! I'm super excited to watch this video and thus doing a season recap before this weekend, however I have a midterm tomorrow :( so I'll be tuning in after, wish me luck!
2:21 if it makes you feel better about the speedy adoption process…
Spoilers but Silco, Vander and Powder/Violet’s Mom were all friends so they’re both basically unofficial uncles turned adoptive fathers
@@healgoth we’re all caught up now. If you have only seen this video beware of Silco hate for awhile 💀😂
@@BRIDGECO1 I admit, he’s grown on me too from the years… I knew his death would leave a power vacuum but GOD! Stinky characters like Singed make me realize that Silco smelled bad in a tolerable way like gasoline or smoke whereas Singed is straight rotting garbage left out in the sun 💀 Jayce hating is a hobby sport, Singed hate is a professional lifestyle round here
Losing Vander was definitely a Ned Stark moment for me. The great thing now though, the show just gets better.
will indeed be stress watching this today instead of other coverage, thank y'all for this
I just now realized the significance of Vi's favorite toy that was taken from her and she never got back...
Lol i literally have the credits rolling of episode 3 because I'm catching up before season 2 and I check my phone and see the noti for this video 😂
It just occurred to me that Powder never blamed Silco for what happened because she blamed herself just as much.
Always love finding people discovering Arcane! Hope you all enjoy the ride!
As for the game it’s based on, League, don’t worry about it - there’s not really story to speak of you’d be missing, and the game itself is... The company makes a lot of good stuff, so def check out other games they did, or the various musical groups they’ve developed if you have a good time with the show!
cool little easter egg but the person who voices viktor is the person who played viserys in GoT!! P cool i think but you're gonna love this series
So happy to see you guys reacting to another one of my favorite shows.
i dont know if they ever actually mention it by name in the show but the shimmer development in zaun in league lore is called "chemtech" which is developed opposite to pilltovers hextech
I like how you noticed that Powder got the plush bunny! Most people miss out on that!
The hype I have for you two to watch this is Sooo High! Can't wait to watch my RUclips feed to see updates on the next episodes 😆
This is perfect timing because as much as I still want to rewatch this show again before season two, I just want to be able to jump into the new season immediately lmao, so thank you. 🙏🏾
Now u have to watch GHOSTLAND
Yes, I absolutely want to see the rest of the series with you guys. Can't wait for the next video!
It is confusing that they call it the underground, with how they first show it from an elevator. The better name is undercity, even though it is above ground it is the lower city across the river, where all the industry for the rich upper city happens, which is why the air and water is bad down there. Also that was just one explosion in episode 3 shown from 5 angles, with the explosion as reference for each viewpoint
my god you wont have to wait for season 2! i really envy you, though it was fun to wait, make theories, etc
Every soundtrack of Arcane are non copyrighted (except Imagine Dragons' track titled "Enemy")
Not the case anymore since Netflix can claim them now.
The VA for Powder was around *eleven years old* when she put on that performance in episode 3.
Bridget - "Yeah, put a blue ball in there, right?"
Cody - "Then throw it, it'll explode."
Me - YOU HAVE NO IDEA. 😅🙈
Welcome to Arcane 💜
My god this can’t actually be happening. You’re your blessing us omgg I just woke up and I’ve never been so happy to wake up.
The music is amazing and seeing the artists for s2 I am HYPED
Welcome to the party.. Was completely clueless about the game, but this show blew my socks off.
great reaction, this show is a masterpiece, always find new things with each re-watch.
I thought i watched u react to that. I kinda digged everyone reacting to it cuz.. i can't get enough of that show.
Hope u love it, and dear god i love ur commentary so i can't wait to see ur reaction ahah
(ur costumes were awesome btw, hella cute and omg the cracks on Bridget make up, stunning)
I don't wanna talk about it too much, go in blind :D
I don't play lol, and know some lore cuz i watched their videos and listen to a guy explaning them.
"you're a stay at home son now" made me laugh out loud. Take my subscription.
Im hoping i can watch all your guys reaction before the next season comes out lol im so excited
This is arguably the best animated show to come out of Netflix (tied with Blue Eye Samurai imo) and season 2 is about to be epic!
Blue Samurai is perfect
46:35
Vander: "it's not the way, can't you see that?"
Cody:"No, cause he only has one eye" LMAO I CAN'T😭
Welcome to the club🎉. So happy that you guys are reacting to Arcane ❤❤
Watched this while eating dinner and perfectly got to THAT scene just after finishing so it was like "Yes, Dessert 😋" LOL
Note, VI hitting Powder was crazy, calling VI "Mom" definately broke me even more. Season 2 releasing in 2 days, I'm so hyped for it.
In this moment, Vi is dealing both with immense grief and guilt as two of the last things Vander said to her was "Protect the family" and "Take care of Powder."
Before Powder meets up with Vi as she's laying over Vander's corpse, Vi may very well have come to believe that Powder was also dead.
So glad you guys are watching this.. by the way there is an Imagine
Dragons companion music video for this show.. watch it when you are done...adds to the story
SEASON 2 COMES SOON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This show is so good! Glad you're reacting to it. Thank you!
This show is amazing, so hyped to see you guys enjoying it.
The first 3 parts could be a movie on their own
The show is a trilogy of trilogies so watching them in 3 episode chunks is perfect. Also, the whole series is as solid as the first 3 eps ♥️🤟😎♥️
Omg i’m so happy you guys are checking out this masterpiece!
Finally getting to this incredible show.
