The situation here however is that there was no foreseeing this man going viral, even he wasn't expecting it, and he didn't appear to have a large following. If they had paid him with what he was bringing, he would have probably made less than $1000 with everything considered, and he wouldn't be entitled to anything else, even from the $11m when he went viral. The point is, even if you get paid to advertise a product, unless there's some sort of deal, it can still feel unfair.

Listen that's plausible but unlikely I'd agree that Patti "might" not be as privy to social media as most and that's a big might. That happens here on RUclips all the time these companies wanna give out a few bundles for a review high cost them hardly anything to promote to their hundreds of thousands of followers who all run and buy the hair Andy the company banks off that. That’s why youtubers and bundles and a check which still doesn’t equate to how much the company makes off the promo video!
Nice to see at least one person gets the question. The situation here however is that there was no foreseeing this man going viral, even he wasn't expecting it, and he didn't appear to have a large following. If they had paid him with what he was bringing, he would have probably made less than $1000 with everything considered, and he wouldn't be entitled to anything else, even from the $11m when he went viral. The point is, even if you get paid to advertise a product, unless there's some sort of deal, it can still feel unfair.
