This video is about visiting the Cotswolds using public transport and on foot. It features pretty villages in Oxfordshire, great circular walks, beautiful farm shops, hotels, restaurants, country pubs, towns, cities, and more. There's even a palace.
Here's the hotel I stayed in: www.booking.com/hotel/gb/the-... (affiliate link)

England yeah !!!
😊
Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I booked my flight for October 2024 into London but hadn't decided on an itinerary yet. I do not want to rent a car, so I appreciate how doable this appears and you visited such beautiful places. I'm anxious to decipher your journey and choice of accomodations. Thank you!
You’re welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful.
Excellent explanation ..very useful thank u so much
You’re welcome!
Thank you for sharing an itinerary that I think I could follow and enjoy! Wow.
You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear that.
Amazing video! I'd never have thought to do the Cotswolds without a car, but it's definitely the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and take it all in!
Thanks, Dom! It’s a fun place to visit without a car (and with one! ☺️).
Thank you so much for visiting. I was born here in The Cotswolds and consider myself very fortunate to be from such a nice part of the country. Although I just love city life too. Please consider paying a visit to Cheltenham too. I think you will like it here.
Thanks! I’ve been to Cheltenham many times. Please feel free to take a look at my blog posts about it.
@@aladyinlondon I will
Well done video. I visited the Cotswolds in September 2021 to walk some of the Cotswold Way. So I didn't hire a car. Easy to get to Moreton in Marsh by train. I loved every minute of it, including walking in the rain for any hour. It is a very beautiful part of the UK. Lord willing, I will be back to visit again.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed your trip.
It makes me weep. I was a young lad not so long ago and sojourned those hills and dells and fields in the `Wolds with my ( much older ) friend. I never took much notice of those beautiful villages and hamlets until my friend - much older than I - died, and left me his home there in the hills of Gloucestershire.
I`ve travelled England 50 times over, hither - fither never taking much notice of the country I was born in and grew up in.
All `this said, England ( and Wales ) is crammed packed with ten villages per 10 miles each with 800 year old parish churches.
I’m glad you’re getting to appreciate it now 😊
Meraviglioso ❤
Very well presented. 👍
Thanks!
This is a great resource! Thank you.
You’re welcome! 😊

Love to see the Cotswolds Highlighted. Thank you
You’re welcome!
What a beautiful place! Hi I am from India. This is a place I would like to visit. I plan to visit London in May/June next year and this will be on my wish list 😊.
I’m glad! Have fun!
My favourite costwolds village is Bourton-on-the-water (known as the Venice of England because the the beautiful river windrush runs through the heart of the village. Must see places there include - "the model village" which features the entire village in miniature, beautifully recreated - also "birdland" where you can see birds from all over the world. Like all costwold villages, there are gift shops, cafes and restaurants everywhere and lots of beautiful walks. Bibury is another world famous village nearby, also well worth a visit to Stow-on-the-wold, Broadway, Upper and lower slaughter, Cirencester, Cricklade, Fairford, Bourton-on-the-hill... And if you want to go to a much bigger town nearby try Cheltenham, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Malvern, Hereford, Hay-on-wye (all are near the Cotswolds and very beautiful places to visit)
Thanks for your new video. It was wonderful this time too.
You’re welcome! I’m glad you liked it.

I'm going to London in November and this is exactly the kind of plan I was looking for. Thank you very much!!
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy it!
Been wanting to go there. We do not have a car so mainly use public transport to travel. You did a lot of walking. Did you just bring a back pack as your luggage for the 3 days you were there? I really enjoyed your video and you have inspired me to start planning a trip to that area.!
Thanks so much! Yeah, I just had a backpack. 😊
If you got the train back to London from Oxford does that mean you were carrying your luggage around with you all day?
Yes. It’s easy. Please see my blog post about how to pack if you need help: bit.ly/2crVJjV. Thanks!
@@aladyinlondon That’s amazing, I had no idea that you did this.
