We booked a room here this weekend and we went in there was roachs and spiders in the floor and hair all over the bed and a lil drug bag laying in the floor....we got our money back and got out of there as quickly as we could!!!!

Good video but Islamorada is pronounced “Eye La Morada “meaning purple island in Spanish

Islamorada is not over halfway to key west 😅 you're still technically in the upper keys my guy.

8 miles to Key West Is pretty close to half & the pride themselves in being the "❤️ Heart" of the Florida Keys & described by everyone that lives there as being the "middle keys" so his description of being halfway was pretty accurate although his pronunciation of Islamorada would have raised eyebrows & would have quickly been corrected by the locals & tourist alike. I'm far from being a expert but have been exploring the Florida Keys for 25 years & will hopefully return in the future.

Was it worth it.? Daily cost for the room.?
Well, we went over new years so it might be a lot cheaper other times. The resort was clean and nice. Not many options in the keys that are cheap and clean. I really liked the location. Close to a couple brewerys and robies. So, it's a complicated question . It was nice
