Cutting to the chase. First, disregard any "Cost of Living in Singapore" vids that're more than 9-12 months old. Things have REALLY changed, and not for the better! American here who's been in Singapore three times in the last year (writing this in late November, 2023.) I love the City, but can't afford to live there. I wouldn't even consider moving on less than a guaranteed $3,500 USD / S$4,700 SGD per month, $4,500 USD / S$6,000 SGD preferred. I DO believe Singapore's even more expensive than Hong Kong now!

Thank you for your comment! You're absolutely right. Eating at hawker centers in Singapore is a great way to enjoy delicious and affordable local cuisine. These food centers offer a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Additionally, using the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system for transportation is a convenient and cost-effective option for getting around the city. It's always helpful to explore these budget-friendly options while considering the cost of living in Singapore. If you have any more tips or questions about living in Singapore, feel free to share!
