The intro was SO GOOD😭I’ve seen people say they don’t get the use of auto tune but they used it perfectlyyyyyyy how it should be used.
On the first listen I was like why’d they do that to my girl Jurin, but I’m used to it and it sounds good. The live version is nice for the people who don’t like all the autotune on the raps
I keep telling peeps the autotune was just for extra sauce, cuz we all know for sure none of them need it. Then they dropped the stage version and the autotune and I'm like bruhhhh that's our girls

I am a Westerner living in Japan so my first thought was this is so 90s with the pixelated video games and the Sailor Moon style transformation and the Bratz Doll fashion. But now that I have had some time to think about it, the 90s is the tamagotchi era, probably the point when Japan had the most influence on world pop culture. So this video triggers the same nostalgia in both international and Japanese fans. Brill!

The masks are wolf masks and they are super proud of them because they love their Alphaz and it was one of their ways of shouting us out and showing their solidarity with us. The other shout out I saw was in the verification screen during Cocona's 2nd rap line just before Harvey's line, "Select all squares with a Shooting Star If they are all correct click Alphaz" and there is an Alphaz button at the bottom. I don’t listen to kpop girl groups at all, but the XG concept, I can see myself getting into. I especially like Maya, Cocona and Jurin a lot.
To be fair XG is not a KPop girl groups, all of them are from Japan even though they also do promotion on korean music show
XG are a Japanese girl group under the sub label of Avex.
