As a huge fan of western artists…XG definitely my number 1 GIRLGROUP out there..late 90’s early 2000’s R&B/Hiphop..They are considered a global group(X-Pop) that’s why you don’t hear a huge drop on their musics like other kpop groups..They aiming for more like an international sounds like western musics..Please react to their b side ‘LEFT RIGHT’ this song charted at top 40 in the US radio,peak at 26..I love shooting star,But LEFT RIGHT is pure R&B-Hiphop.Thank you for reacting to our girls XG..XG we certified
I don't feel Left Right that much because Tippy Toes is the song for me, super super solid debut song but Shooting Star itself is really great, vibe song, they're based for hip-hop/RnB genre which is very rare and they're successful with it.

Definitely check out their Galz Xypher, they smash it and you’ll be shook! Maybe do a lyric video before the actual video though, since the actual video doesn’t have subtitles and they rap in English, Japanese and Korean throughout. You’ll also love their first 2 songs Tippy Toes and Mascara! Their secondary song to Shooting Star is Left Right and for sure more R&B mellow vibes, but it's so good that it’s now on US radio and Ciara is dropping an official remix with Jackson Wang. All worth watching, XG is the future!!

For the Xypher, I found it best to check out their individual TEST VIDEO. There's one for each of the girls, and they did their rap part live - lyrics included. :)

Oh Kyle, you have no idea just how hard they can go. Ha ha but that makes it even better for your fans--who have been clamoring for some XG reactions for months--get to finally see it… do the XG CYPHERRRRRRRRR (Tape #2). I'm a Blink, a Once, a Stay, in the BTS Army, etc., since 2016, & XG is unmatched, talent wise, choreography, singing, everything, but their rap line is simply out of this world, prepare yourselves!~

The lyrics on all their songs and xyphers are A1 flawless. You guys should really check out their live band version of this. The vocals, and ad-libs are on point. Their core vibe is R&B and hip-hop.
XG debut last year with TIPPY TOES and MASCARA, and SHOOTING STAR and LEFT RIGHT were their come back songs this year, honestly check out the rap line COCONA is 17yrs old, MAYA is 17yrs old, HARVEY is 20yrs old, JURIN is 20yrs old but you would think that they had been rapping for years.

"Left Right" is great to. Ciara and Jackson wang did a lil remix at coachella. if you want hard. they did a CYPHER that went viral. they are about a year old group and have 4 songs so far. all are good.

Thanks for reacting to XG! I suggest rewatching the mv a few times as there is a ton of Easter eggs hidden in plain sight. XG is a Japanese group and they put a lot of cultural references in their mv, from hello kitty to Godzilla set design and my little pony.

They are not K-Pop or J-Pop..they are International pop music (mostly English lyrics) Global girl group from
Japan label (Avex) all the member are Japanese (2 of them half Australia and Korea) also their manager/
producer is half Japanese-Korean.
Its not autotuneee!! They really have amazing voice! You should see their Live Performance shooting star, live band!! Its amazing!
I've been a fan of XG since their debut! One thing I will say though, their vocals and raps do sound quite auto tunned I wont deny it. I have however seen their live performances here on YT. And all I'll say is their live vocals are STRONG.
*FYI* - ALL of their songs so far have been in English. I recommend the following from *XG:*
- "Left Right"
- "Galz Xypher" (features 4 of the 7 members)
A lot of people don't care for the autotuned parts, but they use it stylistically for sure and I think it works very well for what they're trying to achieve. They don't use it on live sets so it's always nice to hear both sides. I really like it personally.
That being said, i'm not sure .. is it autotune or some other effect? I'm not musically inclined whatsoever, I just know what I like to hear!
Left Right is also amazing, definitely check out that one too when you can!!

I was at hitc new york a few weeks ago and they had their american debut there, TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU THEY CAN SING!! even hearing sound check while waiting outside on the line I was amazed by the vocals i heard, they were all stable as well !!
Xypher from - XG and XG TAPE #3-A and XG TAPE #3-B .... are a must... these really showcase the group's rap and they are good. The lyrics are good.

These girls are amazing! They're my fav K-pop girl group so far. The can actually sing! And rap! And dance! Black Pink, although I like their vibe, can't hold a candle to these girls' talent. Agree with the hip hop head, there are songs that don't go hard on purpose. Everything can't have the same feeling. Life doesn't have the same feeling all the time and I think listeners want something that matches the vibe of their life is at that moment.

So their current release „shooting stars“ and „left&right“ are more western, I guess? So it is slower or not as „full“ as their songs „mascara“ and maybe also „tippy toes“
